"Hired them in April 2019 to level and reseal patio pavers with polymeric sand. Job looked okay at first, but shortly several voids starting showing in the sand and some pavers started to settle, which is not unusual or unexpected. Sent them pictures at their request and they said they would return and repair the problem areas. I marked the voids and uneven areas with tape to make it easy for them to locate the voids. I also asked that they call to schedule the repair so that I could be there. After over 2 months of inquiries and waiting, someone showed up when we weren't home and did the repairs. Some additional voids have since appeared. If they had come when I was home as requested, I would have simply asked for them to leave a little poly sand so I could fix an additional settling without having to bother them."

"We purchased a house about 5 years ago that had an irrigation system. We had never experienced a sprinkler system in our lawn, So we really leaned heavily on the company that the prior owners used, which was TLC incorporated. And we've never had any regrets since. From the wonderful voices on the phone when I call to the great people that have come out to open, close, change, move, and reconfigure everybody has been so helpful and wonderful."

"After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further! These are your go to guys for all landscape/hardscape work in the area!"

"I normally do my own lawn with my tractor. My tractor broke and before this grass gets up to my ears, I looked on Angie's List and bought myself a big deal quick. They did fine.

If I can't get my tractor repaired, I'm going to use them the rest of the year. I was very impressed. I would give them all As.."

"Owner and employees were very professional, courteous, responsive and knowledgeable."

"I found Emerald on Angie’s list. My renovation project included replacing the old structure, that was infested with mosquitos, with a new patio that would serve as a place of leisure and relaxation. Emerald did an excellent job! The landscaping, new plating, beautiful masonry, stone steps, and river rock boarder exceeded my expectation. The staff and team were attentive to my needs and kept me informed of the project's progress and timeline. I'm thankful to have found a reliable landscaper to work with."

"They did a great job analyzing and repairing my A/C system."
