"As a disabled veteran, I thought this company cared about me in a way that I would feel proud about. They came in, gave me the pitch, told me they worked with veterans and knew what paperwork needed to be done to send to the VA and I went with it hook line and sinker. It?s been a month since the walk-in shower was completed, and they have yet to give me the needed final paperwork to give to the VA to process for my HISA verification. Their call center not only lied to me telling me that they were going to send it, they lied to the VA who also called and was informed they were going to send it to them also. As a veteran, I would stay away from this company, far away from this company because of their non-commitment to finish what they started. The workers are superb, the sales team and customer service is trash. I apologize for the tone but I am very upset and it took me 39 days to post this because I thought they were actually working the issue but they aren?t. "

"DMV did a complete remodel of our master bathroom and we are very happy with the finished product. The design process was a pleasant one, with the DMV team providing very helpful input that allowed a true team approach between us and their team. The process went smoothly because of the large variety of options that we could see and compare in their showroom and their expertise with 3-D image feedback. They were very transparent about pricing and timing and both cost and time projections were met very closely. Their crew was very skilled and extremely careful to keep everything clean. They did an excellent job with every aspect of the work inspected and cleared by team managers. Finally they were a pleasure to work with from a communication and results perspective. I have already been recommending them to people."

"Project Management Issues & Pending Renovation Work. I 100% agree with one of the previous reviews and, unfortunately, am experiencing the same issues that have caused unnecessary delays and frustration. While the quality of work itself is good, the project management leaves much to be desired. My bathroom renovation started on December 1st, 2025, with a promised completion time of two weeks. It has now been almost a month, and the project is still not finished. I would admit that I am responsible for one week delay in replacing a bathtub. Throughout this process, I have received little to no communication ? no daily updates and not even consistent weekly updates ? regarding the timeline or the scope of work being completed. This lack of communication from the project manager, Orkhan, has caused unnecessary delays and frustration. Coordinating with both the crew and management has been extremely difficult, and the project manager?s attitude has at times been rude and unprofessional. "

"JJ was responsive and had the bathrooms done as planned. I would have liked more input and time with picking some of the materials for the bathrooms is the only reason I did not give five stars. The spacing and measurements in a bathroom could have been discussed and evaluated as well. We did request a larger shower area but the design and layout ended up with tighter spaces within the bathroom "

"Home Breakthrough remodeled our primary bathroom, secondary bathroom, and powder room. It did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Francisco and Honika were very professional yet personable which eased our anxiety. Special shout out to Ricardo and Carlos as well who kept the work areas clean at all times. I look forward to hiring Home Breakthrough again! Highly recommended!!!"

"I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent retaining wall replacement project completed by John Krause Construction (JKC) at my property. After reading positive reviews and receiving an estimate that, although over my budget, seemed reasonable for the work involved, I made the decision to hire JKC. Unfortunately, this has proven to be a significant mistake, and I am left extremely disappointed with both the quality of work and the overall experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Unprofessional Behavior: The crew exhibited unacceptable behavior while working on my property. Not only did I witness them disposing of bodily fluids on-site, but they were also disrespectful and dismissive. when I raised concerns no response was received. I now smell urine when entering and exiting my garage. 2. Unresponsive Ownership: I have attempted to reach out to the owner multiple times to address these concerns and resolve the issues, but my messages have been met with silence. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating and has only added to my disappointment. The owner refused to speak on the phone since the owner was made aware of the call being recorded. 3. Property Damage: During the construction process, my property was left damaged in multiple areas. This included e.g., landscaping destruction, equipment damage. Personal crew members vehicles being driven through my yard leaving deep tire marks damage. 4. Subpar Quality of Work: Despite the high cost of the project, the final result does not meet the standards outlined in the estimate or contract. No proper grading was completed. Every time it rains pools of water sits in front and behind the wall. The response received was. “we have passed all inspections.  There will be some water pooling while it is settling still. Plus the fact of the hard rain today, it will happen.” The wall has been completed for 2 months. Given the extensive problems, stress and anxiety I have faced. I do not recommend John Krause Construction."

"My Kitchen and bath had exceeded my expectations with regards to quality, price , and timeliness of my kitchen project . The PM estimated 2 and half weeks to 3 weeks but it was done in 2 weeks, just before Christmas ! The staff was very friendly and attentive . They listened and understood what I wanted for my dream kitchen . Duncan, presented me with options for my kitchen to meet my budget . Although ,I chose the latter which was to have my dream kitchen and decide not to bend on that. Sam was thorough with all the final walk through and made sure I was happy before leaving my house. Attention to detail was what I appreciated most with the whole process . I felt safe in the sense where my kitchen would not be left unfinished midway . I recommend this company to anyone who is renovating !"
