"We were trying to use our older equipment from a previous residence.  Tech Connectors did try to hook up our older TV but in the end we agreed that newer was better.  The new system integrated TV and audio choices (Netflix, Apple TV, Rhapsody, etc) into one remote control.  This includes controlling the speakers on our patio either from the remote or an IPad or phone.  
I might add that we were a little resistant to upgrading to the latest technology but in the end, we are so glad we did (our adult kids agree whole-heartedly).
The work required Tech Connectors to come back on multiple occasions to accommodate the patio installation (running wires under patio and again under the sod).  They were flexible enough to do this so as not to hold up the landscape work.
