He was honest and told me that he had never seen an air conditioner in such good condition for being about 40 years old. He told me that I could get it cleaned or tuned up, but I really should just leave it as is if it was working. He did not press me to do repairs that were not necessary and gave me some general information on what I should do it I ever wanted to needed it to be replaced.
