"On July 1st (2021), Mel and Stephan from Innovative Basement Authority dug a 30'x18" trench by hand to bury our sump pump discharge pipe. They installed a freeze valve, 30' of 5" PVC, and a discharge grate, exactly where we asked to place it. They had to dig right next to the garage foundation, so this was no easy feat. They also made short work of removing a 4'x4' concrete pad for us. The guys were very courteous, punctual, and seriously hard-working. They did an exceptional job, and in just half a day, I was able to check 1 more item off my honey-do list! We are hoping to hire Innovative Basement Authority for some garage floor concrete work in the near future. Thanks IBA! Brian & Terri MacDonald"

"The roofing job went fine. They did exactly what I had asked them to do and they did it well. They are a good company. I have had good success with them all the time. I have been here for twenty years, so they did the first remodeling twenty years ago and then last remodeling was eight years ago with some other work in between. They are very professional. They are honest and they do good work. I have no negative things about them whatsoever. Their prices are fair."

"<p>Just wanted to drop a line or two and let you all know how impressed we were with both your workmen and their work.  In today's society, you just don't find companies that really do a great job, they usually just do enough to "get by".<br /> <br /><br /> <br />At times, without their knowledge, I was home and could hear some of the men talking.  Much to my surprise, their language and subject matter were always appropriate.  Don't find that much in the labor force today!  It spoke volumes to me.  When they did speak with us, they were always very kind and informative.<br /> <br /></p> <p>The work that was performed consisted of excavating the dirt to gain access to the footings on both sides of the foundation.  On the inside, they had to bust out the concrete floor and hand dig to the footing in order to install their brackets for the "unified lift system".  After installing the brackets, they attached special hydraulic equipment to the brackets which drove 3" diameter<br /> <br />pipes down to bedrock.  Next, they attached a hydraulic jacking system to each pier location.  Using their special vehicle with a unique hydraulic pumping system they attached hydraulic lines to each location and were able to do a controlled lift.  From what we understand, your company is one of the only ones that can perform this "unified lift".<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We were taking pictures daily and emailing them out to family and friends who could not believe their eyes!  They started out making our basement look like a bomb went off and when they were done it was swept and looking very nice!<br /> <br /><br /> <br />All this to say that the work done was absolutely astonishing!  We will highly recommend EHM to everyone that we hear may need this type of work completed.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />Thanks so much again.  We were dreading having this work completed, but you all made it so much nicer by your<br /> <br />expertise, kindness, and professionalism.</p> <p>Mike and Cheryl <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

" I usually do not write reviews but when it comes to Trinity they deserve one. As with many others, when looking for someone to do your concrete work, you call and call to get someone who will actually call back which are one or two out of a dozen. In my case, I had lined someone up in January (friend of a friend) and he said I would be number one in the spring. Well I was not number one (number 8 or 9 actually) so that person was fired. <br> <br>Enter TRINITY! I called on a Monday morning and spoke with Cassandra and she set up an appointment for Tuesday at 11am since they were working in the area. Come Tuesday Jeff was actually early and patiently waiting. We went over the project and came to terms on a price all within 15 minutes tops. Wednesday afternoon they were already prepping with a simple contract drawn up but straight forward, Thursday forms are set and Friday its all over except for a few small items. <br> <br>I guess what I am trying to say is Jeff is a man of his word and still has the mentality that a handshake means something. He is a business owner like myself and understands that a customer is everything and it shows with his energy and passion for what he does. I told him he would be an excellent spokesman for selling "Kaboom" or the "Ding King" and I mean that in it's most sincere form, his energy is amazing. Chris was the project manager at my site and was incredibly helpful and informative as things progressed. You can tell the crew gets along and take things serious but still know how to make it fun. <br> <br>If you are seriously looking for someone, do not hesitate for even a second to call Trinity. I will tell anyone I know looking to look no further. <br> <br>Again, thank you Jeff, you were a lifesaver. <br>"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Duluth, MN

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
