"Jorge, Jorge Jr. and their crew are a VERY professional outfit. After taking several estimates from the top-rated Angie's listed contractors in my area, I decided to go with George's Painting based not only on price(his estimate was about the median of all) but based on the very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable Jorge. He came onsite to do the estimate, and made me feel very confident in his crew's ability to do the job.
He impressed me with his knowledge of the process of cleaning and staining fences and decks.  Every question I had for him, he patiently answered. His group also did some minor carpentry work--replacing damaged fence boards and 4x4 deck posts-- Both performed to perfection. Jorge also stood out by mentioning that he preferred to use premium products so the job would last.
His crew was onsite promptly when promised (8:30 meant 8:30, not sometime around 10) Each crew member was courteous and professional. They worked quickly and did an excellent job.
Any time I had to contact Jorge (as we were working on the final scope of work, etc..) he responded in a VERY timely manner.
The end product is the BEST looking back yard in my town-home area.

BD/2BR 1200 sq ft condo, Friendly Painting offered the best price that
was within our budget (~$3300).  The manager, Tom, was on time for our
appointment for getting a quote.  Once we made the decision to choose
their company, establishing a date to start painting was easy, and their
paint crew came on time and were very professional.  They quickly
prepped the apartment and were able to finish painting in two days - as
promised.  Despite some minor communication error of what we wanted

"The experience was great!  Asa is a personable guy who seems to enjoy what he is doing.  He came to my house, on time, and explained to me how the "Big Deal" worked. I had been unable to find the right weatherstripping and unwilling to remove the old without knowing what I was going to replace it with. Asa showed me exactly what I needed and it took him only a few minutes to fix. 
The "sleeve" had to be made. The door hole is on a metal door and over sized for any doorknob I could find. The result is the doorknob slides around on the face of the door and scrapes off the paint; inside and out.  With a PVC connector, Asa ground off the inner ring with a drill and then the outer face using an inverted belt sander. Then, he drilled a hole in the side for the lock bar to travel through. The result was exactly what I have wanted for years, the door knob is secure in the hole, and I no longer feel as if I have to buy a new door.
Asa is capable, efficient, and fair.  I will not hesitate to call him with additional work.
