"The best way for me to sum up my experience with Wells & Wells is simply. You are doing business with just genuinely good people. They take pride in their work, and their customer interactions. Our deck was destroyed by falling trees during the snowstorm in January. We had a regular wood deck and we thought the damage was extensive. After many contractors Wells was the only one that came by and provided an honest assessment. They didnâ t cut corners for cost purposes, they were just honest and real about what needed to be repaired. The not only repaired our deck, they almost completely rebuilt it. For all intents and purposes we now have a new deck. We were able to upgrade from wood to Trex (due to the current cost of lumber). The folks at Wells even told us about the cost differences in wood and Trex and provided professional advice in helping us upgrade. They never tried to price gouge us, they never took advantage. They arrived everyday on time and completed the work on schedule. Throughout the project they would check in to ask how I felt about their work as the project progressed, and they walked me through once it was completed. "We had previously used Art Woodstone 10 years earlier when we asked them to build extensive bookcases and cabinets when we finished our basement. When it came time this year to redo our main floor we turned to Tea and George again to do a slightly smaller but unique project to build two wall bookcases that would connect to a fireplace mantle and then two moveable wooden dog crates to fill in the space below the bookcases and to either side of the hearth. From a rough sketch of what the finished concept would look like, they were able to produce a beautiful custom set. It matched our vision exactly. They worked with our primary contractor's lead carpenter to ensure the piece would have good anchoring in the studs behind the drywall. I cannot speak highly enough of their craftsmanship. The bookcase and mantlepiece are beautiful pieces of wood and spectacular to look at. The dog crates are beyond exceptional. The careful work George did to ensure tight joins at the corners and the wooden slats was stunning. Our lead carpenter from the renovation was deeply impressed by the work. As an add on to this effort, they also restored a large wooden partner's desk that has been in our family for over 50 years. Over that time the desk had it's finish worn away in spots, was sunbleached in others, and had corners gnawed on by puppies in the day. They took that shabby mess of a desk and restored to a shine and gleam that is something to behold. AWS is worth every penny that you will pay for their work. True artisans with an eye for detail and a feel for design. Would recommend them EVERY time."

"Wilson and his crew are amazing! They fixed an armoire door (antique French, so no hinges) when no one else was able to do so, and restored its veneer and cleaned the glass on the doors which had 200 years of mineral deposits. Next, they reupholstered a barrel chair, doing a beautiful job; it looks better than when I first bought it. Wilson has over 40 years of restoration experience with the Catholic Church in Italy and Ecuador, and it shows. He is also very personable and diligent when informing his customers of their job status. I highly recommend d them."

"We started out discussing what I wanted done, and realistically I was told what was possible in the 8 hours I prepaid.  They did an outstanding job communicating about any issues that came up (such as drywall tape that needed repair, dents and nails that had popped.  They did an outstanding job repairing all the issues.  With the extent of repair to the drywall due to the fact that my house is 42 years old, they fixed every nook and cranny that I didn't even notice until they pointed it out.  They did a great job cleaning up.  They moved the furniture carefully and put everything back into it's place.  After they had finished what they had told me was realistic, they tried to finish another ceiling but ended up patching it and prepping it for paint.  They worked every minute.  Outstanding job!

"Juan was very easy to work with even with a little bit of a language barrier. He responded quickly to all my messages and was able to start work quickly. He matched our paint exactly and purchased premium quality products. He went out of his way to order the correct siding boards, taking time to do it correctly. His team was able to tackle all the additional work that popped up including replacing the gutters, changing exterior light fixtures, removing and repairing an old wall exhaust, replacing old shutters and adding trim to the chimney. There were a few delays in the work mostly due to the weather but otherwise he managed time and supplies very well. Will be using him again for my other work inside the house!"

"Alex was FANTASTIC! He helped us design our kitchen layout and made recommendations. He never tried to oversell us and was very frank...which I have a GREAT appreciation for! He was at the house when the cabinets were being delivered and stopped in during installation. If you have concerns or aren't entirely happy with something he will make it right as quickly as possible. We have worked with a number of contractors and no one has come close to his level of customer service. He even brought us a bottle of wine and cheese when it was finished:)"

"It took 4 days for completion which entailed gutting the whole bath replacing the sub floor which was rotted out due to a major leak, flooring replaced with ceramic tile. Replaced tub/shower insert with ceramic tile w/beautiful glass tile inlay. A pocket door was installed, a new vanity w/granite top, new lights , mirror and fan. Todd (the owner) was extremely professional. His son's also work with him and were just as professional and really nice to work with. We will be using them again for a Kitchen remodel in the future.
And oh yes, his wife works in the showroom and she was awesome too!!
