"Have used them 3 times. Always quick to response and easy to work with. Once I called them on a Sunday and no advance notice. They showed up right way. When I called them for service that Sunday, there was no mention or hassle about how it is Sunday and emergency call and extra charge that and service fee that.... Solved the sewer line problem and charged me normal rate and kept me updated during the whole process."

"It was great!  They did an excellent job.  They were very careful to not destroy the yard except where they had to dig.  They had to bring a back hoe into my back yard and the run to the storm sewer was quite a distance.  It took a while to get scheduled because of weather and emergencies that they had, but I was ok with that since mine was not time critical.  I was very impressed that they layed down  plastic to put the dirt they dug up on so that it didn’t mess up more of the yard.  The guys were very professional and friendly.  I have had this project done 2 other times since I have lived in the house 12 years.  I told them this and they took it to heart and did everything they could  (larger pipe, etc.) to ensure I would never have to have this done again.  I wish I had had these people do the job the first time.  I feel very confident that the job was done right!"

"I have used J Blanton for several years. They are very professional and have been very good to me. Our furnace stopped working. A specific part was broken, and it would have been a $1500 repair. Seeing as it was a 15 year old furnace, they advised just to get a newer one. They even called me to discuss this as I had originally misunderstood the situation and was going to go with the repair instead of replacement. They called to discuss further as the replacement was the smarter choice, so they wanted to make sure I fully understood the situation. I appreciate that! The new furnace is in and works well (the few times we have used it thus far). Also, they helped in selection of a new efficient unit."

"I have used this company many times in the last 5+ years. They always did well. I really liked Fernando, very friendly and did the work well. But I called around Wed 09/16/2015 and left a message for a simple toilet repair (float). I got a return call from the office saying that he was very busy and that they would call back on Thursday w/ a day/time. No call came. When I called back on Friday they said they would call back on Monday. No call ever came. I sent an email a few days later w/ my concerns but no reply.
I understand being busy. Just say "We can't do it in the foreseeable future", but no replies shows a lack of respect/caring for the customer.
I'm very disappointed. I would like to speak w/ someone from there to "calm the waters". I'm not looking forward to finding another plumber.
UPDATE:
Since my writing of the above review, where I gave a 'D', Maria contacted me to help resolve my complaint. During that call we smoothed over the rough edges and the next time I need a plumber, I assured her, that I will continue to use Essential Plumbing as my plumber. I am now changing my review to an 'A', as prior to the 9/15 incident that's how I always felt of their work."
