"DMV was the first of 6 contractors that I had spoken with to completely remodel my kitchen. They were prompt, to the point, and quick to give a design and a quote. I liked their input and ideas, but surfed around for another month, worked with an architect and several other designers, and evetually came back to what DMV had designed from the beginning. (Wish I had skipped the pricey architect!) They gave good advice on things that seemed so simple (cabinet pulls) but were overwhelming when you looked at all of the possible options. The job only took 18 days (though the space was "easy" since my basement is unfinished and they had easy access to move pipes, wiring and ducts. My electric panel also had a lot of space in it and did not require any crazy upgrade.) The only minor delays were my fault as I took some time mulling over a few things. My neighbors commented that the workers were extremely courteous, clean, and quiet and did not disturb them throughout the project. My kitchen renovation did not change the footprint, however, I did move an extrerior door and changed the size and placement of a new window. The project was completed a month ahead of schedule and on budget. Everything was kept clean while in process and I was really not inconvenienced by not haing a workable kitchen very much at all. Javier, Lucas, Alex and John were great at communicating and they were on time or early every day. I highly recommend them."

As our designer, Sean was easy-going, accommodating and patient in explaining our options. He promptly created the 3d pdf files with the design of our kitchen, which were helpful to have throughout the project. Adam was in charge of our project, and his responsiveness and understanding were outstanding. At one point we were a bit unhappy with a corner cabinet, but reluctantly we felt we needed to "settle" because there was not sufficient space for a Super Susan. Adam made some research and promptly contacted us with a solution that was perfect for enhanced functionality. Last but not least, Ismar, our foreman on the job was professional, responsive, pleasant, and amazingly skilled. He and his team worked diligently on the electrical portion, cabinet installation, backsplash, appliance installation, and painting. "Z&O did a wonderful job on my recent home project! We needed our brick home painted, porch converted to sunroom and kitchen updated with quartz counters and glossy subway tiles. The end result is fabulous. Still waiting on windows to arrive to complete the sunroom but the other updates look great. I was very impressed with how responsive the owner (Oral) was with emails, texts, and phone calls throughout the project. I added things here and there, such as painting a 1/2 bath, and Oral was very understanding. I would use this company again and highly recommend it for your remodeling needs."

"When we first started to plan our kitchen renovation, we struggled to get responses from many local (Arlington, VA) contracting/kitchen&bath businesses. We were referred to Capstone Remodeling via a colleague who recently completed her bathroom remodel. Stephen returned our call immediately, and scheduled walk-through within a few days. The process was impressive. We had little-to-no knowledge of how kitchen renovations typically work, and didn’t have a clear picture in our heads for the final design. Stephen spent a little time taking notes, pictures, and making drawings of the general space. Following the visit, Stephen was able to provide us with a new design concept for the kitchen, which optimized the small space available in our condo kitchen, as well as a detailed estimate including labor and materials. Once we agreed, Stephen also provided us with his contacts for Cabinetry and appliances, who worked closely with us and Capstone Remodeling to ensure we purchased the right appliances for the new space, as well as coordinate deliveries and installation for cabinets and appliances. Stephen’s team provided electrical (had to re-wire some items!), plumbing, cabinet installation, flooring, painting and backsplash installation. Additionally, they worked with us to identify areas which may require additional adjustments (cabinets not quite in line, gaps between wall/cabinet, etc), installed a new ceiling fan, and removed all the old appliances for us! Due to the pandemic causing appliance stock issues, the process took longer than any of us expected, but the team was polite, friendly, honest, and seemed to genuinely care about the outcome. While I think they were hesitant about some of our color choices, we all agreed the kitchen turned out better than expected. We will absolutely use Capstone for our upcoming bathroom renovation!"

"Matt's crew completely renovated our kitchen & two upstairs bathrooms.  In the kitchen they removed all old cabinets, fixtures, counters, and both tile & wood flooring.  Then they installed new cabinets, travertine backsplash, granite countertops, new sink & fixtures, new hardwood floors, relocated ceiling pot lights, & painted all walls & trim.  All work was top notch!
For our two upstairs bathrooms, his crew completely removed all tile & walls from the shower & bathtub areas; removed old tile flooring and cabinets; removed outdated medicine cabinets. They installed new walls, tiles, tub, shower & bath plumbing fixtures; installed new cabinets, sink/countertop, sink fixtures, tile flooring, and new light fixtures; and painted all walls & trim.  Our master bathroom is small with a shower only, so we were very determined to find a way to add some additional storage without taking up room.  Matt was able to find the space and add an additional tall cabinet inset into the wall that turned out perfect! 
They also replaced the hardwood flooring in the front entryway and painted all walls & trim in our living room/dining room.  Upstairs they installed beautiful crown molding in the master bedroom, painted walls, and installed new doors on closet & bath. 
Matt is the nicest guy ever and so easy to work with.  He was very helpful with suggestions and patient with all our questions and changes.  His crew was hardworking, skilled, and professional.  Matt was able to craft some amazing solutions to design issues that we encountered (such as fitting the larger double sink we wanted into the (smaller) base cabinet we had purchased).  All work was completed within his 2 week estimate, and he was always very responsive to calls.  Our new kitchen and bathrooms are amazing and we are very happy with the renovation.  We would definitely used him again for any additional work we need!"
