After vetting several other vendors, I called EMR as a referral. Bert's bid was reasonable (not the cheapest, but also definitely not the most expensive)- and his communication was very good. He always called me to look over work as he progressed, or found new things outside the original scope of the project. In the end, we have a really great looking wall that took more than twice as many bricks, and a couple weeks longer than we all expected due to unforeseen issues. Bert was a CHAMP by walking through any questions, concerns, and even took it on himself to source some window parts that required repair before he could complete the job. Bert was also extremely fair for additional costs when taking on weeks of work above what the contract outlined. We are very happy with the work, and look forward to having him work on the rest of the house in the coming years."
