He was knowledgeable and gave me what I thought was a fair quote of $1,800. The two other quotes I got for the same job were for $2,950. and $4,800. I am very familiar with home construction work as I have lived in my home since 1961 and have had 2 major add-ons and several inside remodels done during the past 59 years. Lifetime Construction showed up precisely on time for appointments ( a rarity among contractors) and performed the work as contracted. I would definitely use them again. "This was the second project that I have hired TCH to do. It's so nice to be able to hire one contractor and have the same people do all of the work (plumbing, carpentry, tile work, etc.,) instead of having to hire a different company for each part of the project, or have a company sub out the work. TCH has the best personnel, always punctual and very cooperative. Regularly checking with me to be sure the job gets done the way I expected. They were very careful to protect all areas from dust and debris and made an exceptional effort to clean up at the end of each day and when the job was completed. He’s very responsive, upfront, and easy to communicate with, something that can be hard to find with larger companies. A few issues came up during the project and Jay was always willing to work through them without hesitation. I appreciated that he was honest about what needed to be done and flexible with a smaller scope that other contractors didn’t want to take time with. Overall, a positive experience working with a small, local business. I would hire him again for similar projects."
