Beyond his own expertise, he has assembled a set of sub-contractors that are excellent craftsmen in their own areas of expertise. The job was doubly challenging given that for much of the construction period we were out of state getting our old home ready for sale. This also meant that an extra element of trust was involved. John sent us pictures of the progress, so that we could monitor from a distance. In addition, he was able to identify and rectify several flaws in our design. As with any large construction/remodeling project, there were some unexpected expenses that came up, but John worked with us to help limit cost overruns, sometimes foregoing profits. He was also always up front about the costs of the various components. Our new home is gorgeous and reflects his sharp eye for detail. We couldn’t be happier. "Grumpy's Drains was the only company who could get us on their schedule within a week. A half hour before our appointment time, Keith called to let me know he was on his way and then showed up exactly on time. My husband had tried to snake the drains multiple times with no success. Keith was able to clean the clog out of the tub in less than 10 minutes (water balloon and hair clog). He then went to work on the pedestal sink. That was a much more difficult clog while working in a tight space. Keith was cheerful, funny and kind the entire time. The first clog cost a flat $178 and the additional drain was $88. It was money well spent and I would absolutely call on this company again in the future."
