"The technician called to let me know he was on his way. When Trey Hill arrived, he examined the vent, went into the crawl space, examined the pipes and joints, and took many pictures to show me the problem. Trey was honest and very well qualified. He was not trying to sell me anything but was extremely attentive to all the details as to what was causing the problem. He let me know what needed to be addressed but allowed me and my husband make the decision of what we wanted to do. He told me all charges up front. Then he set to work. He did a dryer vent sweep; vacuumed, suctioned, and swept the entire length of the dryer duct; replaced the vent flapper; sealed all joints under the house; added a hanging strap to secure the pipe; removed a broken and inadequate pipe and replaced it; pulled out broken mortar which was being used inappropriately to conceal the shortened pipe; got rid of an unnecessary bend of lint flow which was causing it to go back toward the dryer rather than outside; corrected the dryer vent hose and added clamps. When I asked him if he would show me just how much lint he had obtained from the length of the duct system, he was kind enough to do so. It was amazing that we didn't have a fire. Trey Hill was extremely thorough and professional in his work. Showed me pictures under the house (before and after), of the new exhaust vent (before and after), and then cleaned up all areas before leaving. It was truly a blessing to have him service our home. Later that evening while showing my husband, I learned that there are more than 20,000 house fires a year. Thankful to Chim Chimney to not add to that statistic. "I can't say enough good things about these folks. I had an extensive job, involving 4 chimneys, and mortar repair on a large home. These folks were able to pinpoint (and document through photos) the problems, which went beyond just the chimneys. I also had issues with cracks in my mortar and roof tucks. These guys were conscientious and professional, and obviously cared about the client's home. But the most impressive thing is that they are problem solvers and can do lots of things, which you don't always find these days. They were able to look for and fix a leak that had plagued me for several years, despite multiple calls to the roofer. Excellent service and work."

"Ronnie was very knowledgeable, professional and honest when informing me about what was needed to repair my chimney. I didn't feel pressured to do anything other than what was necessary. He was on time and always called beforehand to let me know he was on the way. Compared with several other quotes I received  he was by far the cheapest. The leaks are still occuring. Yes there is a 10 year warrenty on repairs, but I'm getting tired of keeping buckets out and having to call after major rain and finding leaks. the roof I am refering to is about 2 hours from Nashville so getting timely responses have been frustrating and having to make the calls when my calls are not returned are getting frustrating. There is evidently another process they offer to detect leaks, but they have not done it yet, I am having to ask for that process to be done. Seems there aren't enough people in the company that know enough about it, so I will have to wait until they can get the one person familiar with the process to come do it.

Yes I said I would hire them again only because they have been "nice" and I feel this is an isolated incident. But my patience, which I have had plenty of, is now running thin. We are working on a year now since the repair was done."
