The crew lead by Dan worked wonders for our front walkway. First started out on a Friday 9/12 preparing the area to be worked and finished an amazing, outstanding job on Monday 9/15. "We had a project to clean up our yard from weeds, brush, and dead trees and make it look nice. At first, we were a bit hesitant to hire Wally because of his low online presence - no website, no Google reviews. However, he gave us a very professional explanation what should be done, and named a very reasonable price, so we hired him. Wally and his team did an excellent job. They cleaned up the yard perfectly, killed all the weeds, made nice edging, and spread the mulch. In addition, they took care of our lawn and flower beds (for free!), which was not even included in the contract. We are very satisfied with the job Wally has done for us and would definitely hire him again."

"United construction evolution yeferson he changed front door was lot of work with 2 windows had to take it apart the all frame was old 1950 and rebuil the new frame because they don’t make it anymore that measurement and a tenant door and frame ,build a rail in the back out side about 80 feet with steps then fix the out side wall was with lots ad bumps with bricks stick out made it smooth and painted with prime and special paint rebuilt a chimney and lots of other minor jobs very professional always on time very respectful polite a truly professional including all the workers .The cost was very faire and convenient"

"We had the aging cement board siding on our house painted with dark grey. We had a very large area to paint. Single thick coat looks real good. Workers first washed house down. After drying, all trim abutting cement board was sealed. Then several workers banged out house painting in 1 1/2 days. I was amazed at how quick they worked with diligence. a few days later a couple workers returned to paint the front door (no extra cost). They also recoated paint on the the columns and painted trim boards around the front porch without us asking. Work was very professional and thorough. The price was very reasonable and the payment schedule was broken down in manner agreeable for both us and PLJ. The project manager Thales was real easy to work with and he constantly focused on our satisfaction with the job. I highly recommend PLJ Carpentry. Dan Green Middleboro, MA"

"The reason why we did not give 5 stars for this project: 1. The project materials deposited on our neighbors backyard. It took a long time to get someone from the company to come to move it to our lot. Still, he left some of it and we had to move it ourselves. 2. Despite our requests to start the noisy work at 8AM the work always started at 7:30AM. 3. The brick part of the porch was supposed to be pointed the project manager asked us to agree to remove the low brick wall and wanted to charge us $8K for it while pointing is more work intensive than removing the bricks. At the end he lowered the price but did not do the pointing on the remainder of the bricks that left in the supporting columns. We had to hire someone to do it and it cost us extra $950. 4. When the trash container removed from our backyard, we left with a lot of debris and again we needed to clean it ourselves."
