"A+ to Team Russell. WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Our basement was a large, empty and mostly non-functional space. No storage, no nuthin’. We drew up a wish list which ultimately became a detailed plan with two rooms, a full bathroom, an egress window, new stairs and electrical box, and storage that included many shelves and doors. Other contractors might run screaming from customers like us, but these people—these talented, highly-skilled, hard-working people said, “Okay!” Over the years really good men and women have help repaire and maintain our homes. No one provided the level of service that Russell Renovations provided. We were immediately impressed with Tim Russell’s responsiveness. His communication was great. He was fair in his estimate and realistic in his scheduling. When work began on our project, he and his son showed up when they said they would show up. They worked long hours and honored their commitment to getting this job done on time and within budget. The quality of their workmanship was excellent. They also happen to be delightful, exceptionally considerate human beings. In addition, the other trades they brought in were very good. "<ul> <li>Walked me through step by step of what was going to happen.</li> <li>Had an appointment to pick out everything for the bathroom.  While this sounds like fun, it is very stressful and the team that I was working with could tell I was getting stressed and changed the way I was picking out each item.  Then it all came together and I left very happy.</li> <li>Started a week earlier than they gave me.</li> <li>Had a lock box on the house, never saw the crew, but they left everyday with a very clean area.</li> <li>It almost was like Christmas when I came home from work to see what was done each day.</li> <li>Called me when they found an issue, (I knew they would find something) walked me through it and told me what they were going to do to fix it.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Office called me to let me know when they would be back.</li> <li>Little did I know, my neighbor was keeping an eye on what was going on and told me after the end of the project that they were very professional while they were at the house.</li> <li>They told me the job would take 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they were right on.</li> </ul> They tore out my flooring, ceiling, walls.  New plumbing was installed, new electrical work was done. <br /> Everything new was put in.  I didn't originally have a medicine cabinet, and they put one in.  I wanted a corner shower, which the plumbing would have to go on an outside wall, so additional insulation and changes needed to be made to protect the plumbing from the cold. They suggested to put in a smaller vanity to give me more room in a very small bathroom, and it looks fantastic.  <br /> The bathroom is more than I thought it would be.  Absolutely love it.  I show it off any chance I get. <br /> This is the second major project I've had Ivy Lea do and again, they made the job stress-less. <br />"

"This contractor was so good to work with that we will be having them come back to build the new garage when are ready to start the project. "Joe O. from Allstate along with Karen L. from GAF Energy did a thorough evaluation of our old roof and clearly explained the new roofing and solar options - they took the time to answer our questions and made sure we understood what would be involved, how much it would cost, and which rebates and tax credits we qualified for. Allstate arranged for all the permits and inspections required for the project, so everything was ready when the work began, and all the appropriate inspections were performed as needed. The project took just over 1.5 days to complete. The roofing crew was very careful to do a good job - they were very hard-working, and made sure to thoroughly clean up the site when they were finished. GAF sent experts to train the crew in working to integrate the solar panels into the roof, since this is something relatively new here. We were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved in the project, and the care taken to giving us the best possible result (they even made sure we arranged to have our LeafFilter system removed before they came so it wouldn't be damaged by the roof tear-off). Joe O. from Allstate has followed up with us several times since the project was completed to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and to answer any questions we might have. We are very pleased with the end result of this project. The roof looks great, and it's very nice to not have water dripping into our bedroom when it rains! We are looking forward to seeing how much our electric bill is reduced by using the solar panels. The panels are part of the roof, so they aren't raised above the roof - they look great and fit in well with the roof! Although the project cost was higher than just adding another layer of shingles over the old roof, we believe the value received was well worth the amount we spent. "We originally contacted Vince as we needed some molding removed in our dining room, wanted a large mirror unstuck from over our fireplace, plus several other handman items.   We hit it off immediately and asked Vince if he knew someone who could build us a garage - turns out that was right up his alley plus bathroom demo and redo which we also wanted.   So a couple days of little projects turned out to be close to 3 months and the results are outstanding!   Vince was always on top of things and his crew was extraordinary.   Lots of attention to detail and we are beyond thrilled with the results.   Plus, Vince is a really nice, down to earth, anxious to please sort plus honest and fair as the day is long.   We are honored to be able to call him our friend!  You need handyman/small construction work done?   He's your man. <br />"
