He also tuck pointed several areas around the house that I pointed out to him and he also tuck pointed other areas that he saw needing this work done. Bob is very professional. He called me prior to beginning the job to let me know the date and time that he would start. Once he started, he provided me with pictures inside the chimney to show the current condition. In addition to tuck pointing the chimney, he applied a acid wash to clean the effervescence that had built up. He also applied a sealer to the chimney. It took him two days to complete the job. He also corrected me from overpaying him based on our contract. He's a good guy, hard working and very honest. I would definitely recommend him to others."

The only thing that I did not like was that their work caused a great deal of roof material to drop into our unfinished attic and this was not cleaned up. They cheerfully inspected the chimney for my woodstove and explained what they were doing as they worked. After inspection they explained that I really didn't need a cleaning and therefore the price would be less than anticipated. I had them clean the pipe anyway which they did very quickly. Now spotlessly clean, I can use my woodstove without worrying about creosote buildup.
