"Forest was the most prompt, knowledgeable and comprehensive of the 4 contractors we contacted. Our boiler/heating system was installed incorrectly from the start, so what was supposed to be a quick job turned into something more extensive since he had to rewire all our zones so all the components worked together properly. It was more expensive than we intended, but he also fixed an major and ongoing issue for us, which we appreciated since we have a tenant. He also potentially saved us a $10K plus equipment replacement by diagnosing a very small issue (a $35 heat sensor needed replacing). That's priceless when money is tight. As for the people saying he's rude: he's not. He's direct, not to mention intentional in his work, which anyone with eyes and a brain can recognize as deep knowledge of the equipment and procedures. He is now our go-to technician: we don't trust anyone else with our boiler and will only call him with any further jobs."

"TLDR: safe, thorough, educational. 10/10 would call again. - My in-unit residential heater has been rattling and the filter light has been going off since I moved in (2 years). I've taken it apart (as much as I could) to do superficial cleanings, but to be safe I asked my landlord if I could find a Rinnai-certified technician to complete a professional servicing. I found Mazgan on Google and chose them due to their 4.7 rating. My landlord's initial concerns with outsourcing from the super was that companies tend to tack on hidden fees/charges. Mazgan did not do this. In advance of our appointment, Mazgan assured me that they were only booking me for a professional servicing appointment (which included opening up the unit, completing a comprehensive cleaning, and diagnostic), and that any issues found would not be addressed in that appointment but rather a 2nd appointment would be recommended if necessary. Thankfully, nothing was wrong with the unit (besides the fact that it has literally never been cleaned 🙃). Zaki, the technician, was extremely thorough. He cleaned the unit for nearly 2 hours, was very quiet and gave me a heads up when something would be noisy (which enabled me to work-from-home in peace), showed me photos of how clogged the vents were with dust/grime, and provided a lengthly and clear explanation of how the machine works and the importance of cleaning/how accidents can happen if not. They showed up when they said, charged what they said, and completed what they said. First things I did once Zaki left were to save Mazgan's number, purchase a carbon monoxide detector, and leave this review."

He was extremely professional, thorough, and took the time to clearly explain what the issue was and how the system works, which I really appreciated. He came twice — first for diagnosis, then to replace the control board of my Mitsubishi heat pump — and handled everything very seriously. He even contacted Mitsubishi support on my behalf to check warranty coverage and make sure the repair was done properly. He also cleaned everything carefully and left the area in great condition. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work and time spent. Overall, excellent experience. Reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I would absolutely recommend Noel to anyone needing HVAC work."
