"Mike was a friendly pleasant guy. When I called him I explained there was a time constraint, that I had a dental appointment so he had a 90 minute window to complete the job. I further explained I was just looking for a diagnosis of the problem, that my son would take care of the fix. Mike was confident he?d identify the problem within an hour. Mike gave it the old college try but at the end of 90 minutes my computer was completely dismantled and I didn?t have a definitive answer of the problem. Mike did say he ?had never seen this before?, not something you want to hear from your doctor or the computer guy you just paid $120 to help you. The most he could do was speculate the problem was either the cpu, the motherboard, or both. His money was on the motherboard. He gave me a range of prices for replacements for those parts then said to give him a call to let him know what I wanted to do. I told him I?d tell my son of Mike?s hypothesis and go from there."

"After his analysis, he did not charge me anything, but sent me to another laptop repair person whom he knew and trusted, a guy named Brian with Laptop Repair in Denver. That person continued with the repairs and Mark picked up the computer, brought it again to me and checked it out in my apartment. He found some problems that he said would take more time to fix, some that I was not aware of, took the computer to his home for further correction of problems he had discovered. When he brought the computer back to me, it worked well, and he had added Skype, Windows Word, and Norton Security Suite, free of charge! I know Windows is about $100 itself!
