"We were hesitant to go with Chimney Savers mainly because of the price - it was thousands more than the nearest competitive bid.  However, in retrospect, we made the right call. <br /> We have a chimney with two fireplaces, one on each floor. "Total Chimney installed a new stainless steel cap over my three flue chimney. An initial misunderstanding about price was quickly and fairly resolved with the owner. The three crews which came to my house were all very professional, although the lead tech at the first visit did not measure, so the special order cap did not fit and a second one had to be ordered. During the whole process, my phone calls to the office were quickly returned and communication was excellent. I am very pleased with how everything was handled and recommend Total Chimney."

"I called my fuel company to schedule an annual furnace tune up and was asked if my chimney was cleaned recently. It wasn't so Petro highly recommended calling Guaranteed Home Improvement. I did and spoke with Mark who made an appointment for a service call. Justin arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection of the exterior and interior of the chimney. He provided photos that were helpful as he described the damage in the flue and cautioned about the possibility of carbon monoxide building up inside the chimney. He was very knowledgeable, clear and concise as he explained that inserting a liner would divert smoke and heat from corroding the clay tiles filtering into the house. The photos of missing and disintegrated tiles at the base of the flue were enough proof for me. Justin answered my questions about the work, when it could be done, how long it would take, the cost, etc. The decision to go forward was a no brainer for me and as I was comfortable with Justin's responses and he arranged for a crew to come over within the hour. Charles and Taj arrived soon after and immediately began installing the liner in the chimney. They were professional, courteous, worked well together, and completed the work in a short period of time. Eric contacted me later to find out if everything was okay and I said I was completely satisfied. The entire process from the initial call through the follow up conversation from Eric was handled very well. In fact, everyone I interacted with at Guaranteed Home Improvement was friendly, professional, and fine examples of good customer service.
