"The entire process was handled in a timely fashion.  The estimate was given and a date set for the work along with a scheduled completion date.  More damage was discovered once the siding was removed and additional repairs were needed that were not part of the initial estimate.  The workman showed up early and worked for 2-3 days to get the job finished.  Where the story gets interesting and what has endeared A-1 to me as a contractor I have used 2 more times since the above mentioned repairs were done is as follows.  After the repairs were complete I was anxious for our first wind driven winter rain storm which was the only set of circumstances that the leak manifested itself.  It took a few weeks for this to happen and much to my dismay when the rain was driving into the south wall I still found evidence of water coming inside the house in the same spot as it had before.  A call to A-1 the following day had the foreman back out to the house to investigate the problem.  After some investigative work it was determined that one of the workman had damaged the flange of one of the vinyl windows that they had re-installed.  This tear had caused the continued leaking.  Now I am sure you are thinking to yourself, why would you recommend someone who make a mistake in a repair job?  There is no way that I could have determined that the damage to the window flange was something that pre-existed the work that was done or if it was caused by the work that was performed by A-1.  A-1's foreman theorized that one of their workman caused the damage inadvertently when re-installing the window.  A-1's owner contacted me and said that they would cover the cost to remove the window and replace it with a new one as it was their error.  As it turns out I upgraded to a better window and paid the difference on the window but that was it.  A-1 took care of it as promised and the window has been trouble free for 5 years.  I was so impressed by their honesty that I have used them for two subsequent repair jobs in the past year.  Having dealt with unscrupulous contractors in the past, this was a refreshing change to find someone that actually stands behind their work.  I have recommended them to several friends and co-workers who have been in need of repair services.  And I would heartily recommend them to you as well. <br />"

"Very well. Though Casey maintains a very busy schedule, he and his assistant Misty were able to fit the repair into their schedule soon after receiving my call. It turned out that one of the rollers had fallen off of the garage door, which was putting tremendous stress on certain parts of the door. In time, the door would have buckled and collapsed. Casey, with Misty's assistance, worked efficiently to repair the door, which required making some adjustments to the area where the problem occurred. Before leaving, Casey tightened every screw and nut, and he lubed the door in all of the necessary places. it now works perfectly."

"In moving to Bellingham in August of 2010, we purchased a condominium that had a problem with water leaking into the crawlspace. Even though the HOA periodically pumped the water out, we wanted a more efficient and permanent solution. The building inspector for our home personally recommended Mark and 'The Carpenter's Brother' as a company that does all types of home repair, including sump and crawlspace work. We met with Mark and he quickly assessed the problem and laid out a simple sump and drainage system that would keep the crawlspace dry, protecting the wood superstructure of the building from eventual mold and rot. Mark and his son quickly did the trenching for drainage and added drain tile and rock. They then installed the sump system and replaced the vapor barrier that had been pushed out of the way by the people that had been doing the periodic pumping. The crawlspace is now clean and dry and the pump is working perfectly so far. Mark and his son were a pleasure to work with and were always easily accessible, on time, and very professional. "My big project for this year was to replace the bad siding and give my home a new paint job which it was really needing. I was going to have a contractor do the siding work and I was going to take on the painting project <br /> Earl Hassler of Building Dimension LLC and Dan from DTM construction came to my home on the set date and time. They proceeded to replace my bad siding with new Hardy Board siding, reframe the windows. They worked with and around all the utilities that were on the south side wall and put everything back just as it was before. They were very professional and quick. They both would readily answer any questions or concerns I had. I was amazed at how fast they were able to complete the job; and how top notch it was for as quick as they were. <br /> A few days after that job was completed, I was looking my home over and decided that the <em>New Siding</em> made the remaining <em> Old</em> <br /> <em>Siding</em> look even older. I again contacted Earl and explained that I would like to replace the remaining siding on my home and to remove a door and replace with a window; and would he mind giving me an estimate. Earl came at our agreed upon time and walked with me while we discussed what would be done on the new project. He submitted me a bid that was very reasonable and I accepted his bid. <br /> Earl and Dan came to my home in Mid-September to complete the siding of my home. They did a phenomenal job; and were as fast and thorough as the first ime. Earl even left his ladders for me to use when painting the high walls, which I really appreciated. The high walls (south and north side) on my home are almost 2 stories high. That makes for alot of siding and painting. The entire project included 4 sides to my home and 1 1/2 sides of my garage; reframing 5 windows, 1 large bay window, removing 1 door - installing a new window, and framing sliding deck doors and adding misc. trim that Earl and I had discussed. The whole siding and window replacement came to less than $7000.00. And my home looks brand new! <br /> I would absolutely recommend Earl Hassler of Building Dimensions and Dan from DTM construction to anyone needing really good and reasonable contractors."

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support.
