The screwy wiring did not make sense to me so I called for help. He sorted out various issues (loose wire nuts in fixture, blown LED bulbs, weird wiring choices) and got everything working. I think he had shoemaker's elves hiding in his van because while I worked with him in the dining room, other fixtures and outlets in other rooms on different circuits started working without being touched. I can't guarantee they will accompany him on all future jobs but I was very happy with their contribution."
