"Rough Diamond Construction Company did an excellent job remodeling my family room/basement. Nate's attention to detail and his expertise was well worth every dollar paid. He was always in contact with me as well as advocating for me when I had a water problem in my basement with the company who initially made the repair. Because of the water problem I experienced in the summer, I decided to have the entire room renovated - new floors, walls, ceiling, doors, etc. Nate and his crew were professional and efficient. The end result is that the room is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Nate and his team to anyone - you won't be sorry."

"We had a good roofer. They did a good job. They were easy to work with. The cost was reasonable. They cleaned up every day. They were very conscientious about making sure the roof was covered every night. It took about 7 days. There was other work they did for us in addition to the roof. It was a very big roof. It is a ranch house and the builder had area as 3600 sq feet so it's a pretty good size roof. We had 2 choices for shingles. We went with a 3 dimensional shingle. It sticks out a little bit. They had a couple days of rain that they couldn't come out but that wasn't their fault. The owner, Roger Brank and his wife Sarah were very professional."

"From beginning to end these people provided very good design advice and followed thru with timely expert construction and attention to detail. This home presented a lot of construction problems which were handled expertly and on time. We are VERY pleased and would recommend this company to anybody interested in quality on time work. Our job was also complicated by the presence of two babys under the age of 2 years in our home while construction was going on. The workers worked around nap times and lunches. They certainly transformed our home into the modern age while being true to the the history of the home. <br />"

"Bob was very punctual and his communication before and during the job was very good.  <br /> I should have set a completion date so that I was sure of the days they would be there all day .vs part of the day or not at all. A couple of the days I was told they would be there but they weren't able to accomplish that extending the project into the next week. <br /> Overall they did a good job. There were several detail things/short cuts that were missed and discovered when the painter arrived. Not the end of the world but I would have done it a bit differently next time.  They were good about doing as we asked as the project progressed. If you are very detail oriented I would get EVERYTHING in writing before the job. Not just the basics. <br /> They did an great job of keeping the mess to a minimum during the work and and always cleaned up after every day of work. I felt comfortable about them in the house during the work and would recommend them with a word of caution realtive to the details  <br /> and specifics. <br /> Everything looks good, now that we are complete. <br />"

"FABULOUS WORK! <br /> This was the 2nd bathroom in my house that Custom Plus remodeled. <br /> They installed a heat light and a recessed shower light. Installed tub and toilet, and showerhead and tiled the tub area and floor and my bathroom wall accessories. <br /> They worked with me to allow me to do the paint work myself to help save me budget. <br /> I love the work of this contractor! They are highly professional and give high attention to detail. They stay on schedule and protect your areas outside of their work-zone. The project saddled over a weekend. They cleaned everything up between Friday and Monday temporarily. <br /> At the completion of their job, you could not even tell that they were there because they totally clean-up after themselves. <br /> The bathroom is beautiful! <br />"

"Arranged  meeting,   Walked around house to describe the work,  Cory provided estimate and we discussed  details over the phone.  Approved and signed the contract.  Paid 40% of work.  Work  occurred 3 weeks later and was done in several days.   Work was professionally done.  Framing around interior door was done by hand.  Discussed the work and completed some minor details.   Paid the remainder.   I was very pleased with the work and the process.  Cory was very pleasant to work with and his crew got the job with minimal disruption."

"It was fantastic! They had a really organized crew. The guys set it up and knew exactly what they were to do, and they never missed anything. I called them and the gentleman came out and went over everything with me. He told me exactly what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. I had no problems at all. I priced them before and they were $1,000 cheaper than a couple of other bids that I got. The price was satisfactory, but I think they all charge too much."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Ebensburg, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
