"I received a proposal, with pricing, very promptly. A date for the work was quickly agreed upon: the three-person roofing team arrived as agreed and on time. They worked quickly and smoothly, finishing by mid-day, cleaning up the work site as necessary. I watched the process throughout. These were craftsmen who, most notably, seemed to enjoy the work they were doing. Obviously they had a lot of experience in working together as a team since everything was done so efficiently. They did not just re-caulk cracks around the roof penetrations, but rather, removed tiles two to three feet back from each penetration, replacing underlayment, and resealing everything. A leak of many years has already passed a heavy rain test. Extra work above and beyond the original proposal was needed and completed. When I offered to pay more Sun Rise refused! This is unheard of care for the customer. I couldn't be more satisfied. This is a great company to deal with."

"The old peeling painted surfaces were expertly and seamlessly repaired. Shai's workman was an artist, hand-mixing the materials to match exactly the old surfaces, so it all looks like new. The water damage was a longer and more complicated process, involving assessment of water still within the wall (yes), asbestos testing ( positive), and abatement, all before Above & Beyond could start work. When they did, it went as smoothly as possible:The men moved all my bedroom furniture, which includes heavy 250-year-old chests, took down 10-foot-tall curtains and pelmets: scraped and evened out the cement floor, adding a coat of cement, replacing insulation and drywall, installing LVT flooring, and painting. Then they replaced all the furniture. Shai, himself, is professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. These traits filter down to his crews. Everything went as he said, on schedule, with no drama and no fuss. Moreover, when the insurance company was slow in sending the check, he was very understanding, and assured me he would hold my credit card information until the check came in. I cannot praise this company, and the owner, highly enough. Both experiences with them have been a real pleasure - even with my bedroom sitting in the rest of the house! "We had a bad leak. Green Mountain Contractors (Zach and Joleen) inspected our roof and found extensive hail damage and several other problems. We had our insurance provider send out an inspector prior to Green Mountains assessment, so we had an accurate confirmation of the damage. All of the problems were addressed in a professional manner. Their team removed three layers of old asphalt and one wood shingle layer. After this Herculean effort they replaced the decking (wood planks) with pressure treated wood and Owens Corning TruDefinitionDuration shingles with a life time warranty. We also had new fascia board and an attic vent installed. Green Mountain took care of all the insurance paperwork and phoncalls and regularly kept us informed. They removed all debris and protected the landscaping . The crew was polite and informed us of any delays(rain and wind).
