"<p>Did a good job, providing 2 layouts to choose from.  Completed design and sent email and snail mail paint and furniture samples in a little over a month from starting the process.  The previous estimate was 2-3 weeks so it wasn't so late.  My only disappointment was the design was not for the complete room.  They told me that the missing area was considered an entry way or hallway and could be designed for an additional fee.  I did not want to pay an additional and accepted their explanation, but on second thought, in my opinion, it isn't really separate.  There is a large archway one-third of the way into the room, but I have never considered it as two separate rooms and no one visiting my home has ever mentioned it.  Every room has an entrance.  I wouldn't call the way to get into a room as a separate room. Other than that, I would say a got a great deal overall.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent. <br /> My project is far from complete.  I intend to continue to use Vicki and her expert advice until the end !!!!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Egnar, CO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
