"I hired Beaver Valley Lawn Service (A J) as I had a water problem and it was running onto my patio. He french drained it. Well just a few days after it rained and the water came down worse then before he did his work. I paid him over $6,000. Then he came to look at it and wanted $3,100. more he said to fix it. My children said no and we got someone else to do it the right way. He also never finished what he was to do according to the contract. He was to plant grass seed and put fertilizer on where they had dug up. My son has been trying to get the money back but he acts like he has an attorney and he will send us a letter. We just want our money back. DO NOT HIRE HIM. I had to mark something in where it ask what work I had done because it does't give you an option to put in what was done at my home and it won't go through without something in the box."

We had some different ideas when we first contacted Charles but he was able to see what was possible and make great suggestions to fit our wishes, space, and budget. All of the workers that came to our home were very skilled, polite, and professional. They made sure that all work was done completely and correctly, no shortcuts. Charles was very involved in every aspect of the project. He is a great communicator and coordinated all the work and deliveries very efficiently. While I'm sure the size of our kitchen and deck would seem insignificant to some, we were made to feel like VIPs. Everyone treated our home with dignity and respect. "Ray and the entire team were excellent! I had previously received an estimate from another company, but they used subcontractors for the actual work and this concerned me. Another company came out and took measurements, but never gave me an estimate. I got the feeling the job was too big for them. I was now really hesitant to trust anyone to do the work and wanted to make sure they were going to do it right. I went to the BBB and found Betterliving with an A+ rating. From the beginning, I felt comfortable. They explained everything, were more than open to additional phone calls to clarify any questions I had and gave me an estimate very quickly. While I knew the work would not be started for several months, I received weekly phone calls from Michele, so I felt informed the whole time. They even took care of the permit that was required, so I didn't have to do any paperwork, handle the fee or answer questions. Mike was great about getting the measurements and he let me know the work would not start until he made sure all of the pieces were available. Frank was super with the installation. He treated the entire project as if he were working on his own home. The payments were done over the duration of the project, so I didn't feel like I was handing over my money without anything in return. And the final payment was not due until I was satisfied with the work completed. The warranty provided on the materials was excellent. I'm happy I decided on Betterliving and have been enjoying my patio cover every chance I get! A long time dream is finally a reality."

"I started working with Jim Seibert of Trademark Cabinet Company this summer in preparation for a significant kitchen overhaul in my townhouse. From the beginning, he was open to my questions and preferences, and helped me plan and design cabinets to fit in the existing footprint but far surpassed the functionality of my 1980s cabinets. When it came time to do the demo in October, he and his crew were both friendly and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I watched them repeatedly do calm and focused problem-solving on the fly, and they finished earlier than we expected. Then when they brought the gorgeous cabinets we chose, they were meticulous in their installation and gracious as I watched the whole process from my spot on the stairs. The finished product was superb, the price very competitive, and I only have compliments for their work."
