He built the stairs very strong with excellent heavy duty wood. He also replaced all the roof soffits and made repairs as needed. "It was odd. Derek replaced an outside door for us and it went well. He then committed and bid on doing our bathroom but he did not show up on the day he was supposed to come. He did not answer calls after this or texts. It was strange. He seemed okay and communicated well but after starting installation of a bathroom fan he seemed to get overwhelmed and never contacted either my husband or I again."

"Swanick Builders were not consistent with time lines. They would make choices that we as the homeowners should have been consulted on or made. Builders made many mistakes of placement or painting wrong colors from chosen /discussed choices made by us. When talked to about this they would state its a focal point. Level of work has been found to be subpar at best, needing other professionals to come correct. Sub contractors utilized by builders were subpar putting hole in roof . all in all they should not have taken such a large job and we would not be hiring ever again. "

As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece.
