"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Mike, the owner/installer is a great guy.  He is punctual and knows his business.  His price is very fair and reasonable probably because he offers only one type of railing.  Customer has no choice of selection of railing.  Mike will paint the railing any color you want but the style is the same. It is a very basic functional railing....which is fine if that is what you want.  A complaint I have is that the railing does not feel like it was "finished".  There are some rough spots/edges that Mike suggested I sand lightly if it is bothering me.  I would have preferred that he sand it smoothly himself at his shop before painting it.  It only took Mike and a helper 1 hour to install all four railings (which included a supporting post and drilling through a metal pole....that was very welcomed.

"Andrew did a wonderful job building a new deck for me. The costs for building these days are expensive; but, Andrew came in at a reasonable price and time frame. Working with him was a good experience and everything from start to finish went smoothly. He came every day on time and did a thorough cleanup. "This was my third time working with this contractor and each project was a pleasurable experience! As was the case with the other two, they started this project on time and finished on time! All the work was done according to strict Mount Lebanon code. They made suggestions based upon their experience i.e we wanted a six foot high shadow box fence but while Mount Lebanon code allows for a six foot high privacy fence of just about any style, they do not allow, by code, a six foot high shadowbox fence. Steve Hilpert proceeded to build us a 4 foot high shadowbox fence (the maximum height allowed by code) with a custom built 2 foot high trellis section which Mount Lebanon subsequently approved. The fence looks beautiful!
I was nervous about cutting a big hole in the wall of our addition to install the sliding glass door. Now the door looks like it has been there all along! It came out PERFECTLY!
The deck is also beautiful and solid as a rock! We had an issue with the location of our two central air conditioning units off the back of the house. The other contractors (which I found here on Angie's List as well) said they would just build over these units. Not knowing anything about central air conditioning this seemed reasonable to me. Steve was the ONLY contractor who told me that you absolutely CAN NOT block the air flow above the units! Not only that, he was honest enough to tell me that moving the units should be done by a qualified HVAC contractor. Now that is a contractor you can trust!
All work was completed on time and within budget. The same crew arrived early each day and were polite and professional. The job site was spotless at the end of each day!

"The pads came out beautifully and fit perfectly. My table is an unusual size and goes from round to oval when expanded. The pads look great and if I wanted I could even leave them on all the time. They fit together easily and they're easy to put on and remove"

"We played email tag for a few days but it was easy to schedule (within a week of my calling). He was able to meet my time parameters easily two hours on two days.  Marty arrived on time and we went over all of the possible jobs I wanted completed and prioritized them. We agreed to do the projects out of order so that he could pick up parts that evening and complete the remaining jobs the following day. Marty was very thorough and efficient diagnosing the electrical problem. He didn't  use up all of the time trying to figure it out. He found an unsafe electrical mess. He showed and explained to me what the issue was and the most efficient and safe option to correct the issue (rewire, cut power to the existing mess). He mounted 1 tv but had to get anchors for the second tv (they weren't included in the box). Next he diagnosed a faulty shop light, determined that it wasn't the bulb or electrical but the fixture itself.  He gave me an estimate on the new fixture and agreed to pick up another fixture in addition to the wall anchors. He came back the next day and completed the remaining jobs without a problem and I settled the tab on parts which was exactly what was estimated.
