"I see these 5 star reviews and they have to be “ringers”. I’ve had nothing but problems with CR Garage Door from the beginning. Ordered a commercial door that was supposed to be installed in 6 weeks, 5 months later our door showed. Our first service call was 9 months later last Thursday. Our door wouldn’t shut. I checked the eyes/cameras and they looked ok, they said someone would be there between 8 and 10am the next morning. No show ! 1230 they rolled up and I wasn’t home. My wife escorted them to the door, showed them the code (F41/43Eye) on the device. Now you’d think he’d check the camera eyes ? Wife tells me he spent 45 minutes on his phone talking to someone before letting her know he found the problem, the camera eye. Shows her a picture of a camera tilted approx 45 degrees upward. She tells me after he left and I got home, that was ******** we would seen that it was so obvious in that position. She also said she heard him on the phone tell someone I don’t know what I’m gonna charge for this. Ready $500, no he says just kidding, $300. She complained and he tells her $225. This for 5 minutes work on a $39.95 service call and 2 to 4 hours late. Honestly should had been covered by a warranty service. They took advantage of my wife, scammed her, inflated the charges and stayed on our property for another 45 minutes after ripping her off before leaving. I immediately called to remedy the problem and they have refused to call back or answer, straight to voicemail. it’s been 4 days, I’ve called 4 times. Credit card dispute is now in the works. By the way, this door is a commercial door costing north of $12000. They demanded $6000 up front which I gave them. After waiting 5 months I told them I was gonna cancel and demand a refund. They immediately brought out a door, the wrong door which was without windows. Installed it, screwed it up several times installing it, obvious by the various screw holes on the interior face of the door. Now, if you’re wondering why I called them for service ? They told me I had a warranty if I had any problems. Stay away from CR Garage Doors ! There are other reputable companies out there."
