Lee Dickerson was one of four contractors who responded to my request for quotes to build a new 24' x 24' stand-alone garage,.  I wanted it designed to look like the existing attached garage, including drywall, insulation, 9 foot ceiling, 8 foot high door, man door, 3 dormers, natural stone, stairs to a finished second floor, and painted throughout with window and baseboard moldings.  He did exactly as I requested.  His architect created drawings laying out the design and required material.  He worked with the township to obtain the required building permit and commenced work as promised.  All of his crew and those of the subcontractors were closely scheduled to avoid unnecessary downtime.  When a few timing or material issues arose, Lee worked tirelessly to put in place work-arounds to keep the project on schedule.  All of his subs and his own crew performed extremely well and were professional from start to finish.  I now have the garage I wanted.  It looks like it's always been there since it matches almost exactly with our home and existing garage.  I am very pleased with the work product and the quickness of completion (5 weeks from start to finish).  The quality is excellent.

When repair was being done, we were very much impressed with people on the job and the excellent work. This led to our extension of contract to have much needed work to be done on our home. "GREAT contractor; just look at this deck!! Don Sherman Builders LLC is my contractor of choice from now on! We had a very old TREX deck off the back of our sunroom, very small- it was on a second story- very high off the ground. We wanted to increase the size of the deck but since our sunroom was a weird shape, we had no idea how we were going to do this and have a decent looking set of stairs go down to the patio below. Don came in and had it figured out quickly, gave us a good drawn-out plan with measurements noted, and a fair price. Through the course of the job he communicated well and I never had to wonder...is he going to be here today or not? Is this going to get done or not? Every change or upgrade in the project was written out and added to the original four corners of our agreement; nothing was left to a "guesstimate".Don is very up front that he is "semi-retired" and works from about 10-3pm daily. He loves what he does and it shows!"
