"I would like to give a shout out to Eric and I-construct for the new awning. They installed this for us in less than a day! He showed up for the initial inspection on time and gave me a quote on the spot. It only took a few weeks to get the material and was out in a few days at the time he said he would be on site to install. We were a little leary of what a "metal" roof would look like, but we could not warrant paying so much for a wood and shingle "shed" roof. We couldn't be happier with the appearance and workmanship. "After calling Darrick to request an emergency estimate for damage inflicted to our screen porch by another company, he was out looking at the issue the next day. In person, and by phone, he was pleasant, professional, and clearly an expert. I had 8 estimates to fix this particular problem. Not only was he the most impressive in person, his estimate was also the lowest.  I had one other estimate just a bit higher than his, and everyone else was $1000 - $2000 higher. He was also one of the few contractors to always follow-up quickly and without fail to inquiries. In the end, he wasn't able to do the work for us, because the company who damaged the porch insisted on bringing in a contractor associated with them to repair the damage, but given the choice we would've chosen Darrick and A + M construction. And we plan to call him first the next time we need a contractor.

Arrived on time, had to leave and get materials.  When they built steps using riser, we wanted larger platform at door, so instead of making it even they have one step about 1-1/2 inches below the top step where it is wider.  Actually created trip hazard.  I had sent Randy an e-mail about the work being unsatisfactory, along with pictures to show what the problem was.  He did respond and said he would be out and do it himself within the following week or two.  Haven't heard from him since. 

I do know that Randy used to do an excellent job as I used him for several projects back a couple of years ago.  I believe that he has grown so quickly that the people he has now hired just do not have the expertise that Randy has and do not take pride in their work.

Randy came by to correct the problems we had with the steps.  The stairs are perfect now and exactly what we wanted.  As I had stated earlier Randy has always done an excellent job and have always been pleased with the work performed in the past.  I will definitely use Harward Construction again.  As stated earlier, I think sometimes when a business is growing, not all people working take pride in their work, but Randy has proven that he stands behind his work and will work hard to correct a things that are not done right.  Very pleased with results.
