Once installed, he made sure that the water was flowing normally from every faucet. He then informed me of everything he did during the install. "I was very pleased with all the work Joe did at my Mom's house and mine in Cary. At my Mom's he put in a new utility sink and repaired it and also repaired a significant leak downline from a toilet. When I saw the quality of his work I hired him to work at my house. There he removed and replaced a hot water heater and repaired a big leak in my utility sink and replaced the faucet. With the water heater he had to remove the black pipe to remove the heater then repipe after. After he was done both houses were cleaner in the areas he worked . I would hire him again if I need any plumbing done in the future."

"I had a slow leak/dripping valve and the main shutoff valve was original and in need of replacement as it was very old and I was afraid of breaking off the handle or it failing when needed. There was also a corroded section of galvanized pipe coming directly out of the old valve so I was worried about it potentially failing at an especially inconvenient time and being unprepared for future emergencies.
Charlie and his assistant showed up as scheduled for their appointment and completed the replacement with an improved configuration. 
Charlie offered some extra observations and pieces of information and advice not all directly related to the job and answered all my questions about the plumbing work.

"The upstairs neighbor’s tub had a leak, which destroyed our bathroom ceiling. Matt coordinated with the upstairs neighbor, took care of his tub and our ceiling flawlessly. Matt also diagnosed an issue with the kitchen sink assembly and repaired it. He took care of all these issues at the same time, in one day. He cleaned up after himself and was delightful to deal with throughout the whole process."

I didn’t know the source of the water so we weren’t doing laundry or dishes. Rob arrived and quickly located the source of the water and repaired the problem. We were expecting to pay $$$ because it was a Sunday emergency call. The price was quite reasonable but he gave us a discount on the full service price because he only needed to perform a part of that service…we now have a new friend and a new plumber.
