"We hired Woods Home Services in 2006 to install a sprinkler system on our lawn. We have had no problems until this past week. We had a water leak and called the city of Bedford. They came out and said it was the sprinkler system, and they turned the water off until we could get it repaired. It was Friday and we envisioned a weekend without water. We called the installers, Woods, and told them our problem. Within the hour, a young man named Trey Woods was calling to say he was on the way. He stopped the water leak and turned the water back on. Mind you it has been several years since they installed. I asked for two levels of quote: simple repair of existing flagstone and a more ambitious paying stone rebuild of front walk. Two detailed quotes were prepared and transmitted to me for evaluation; I was very impressed with the detail. For budget reasons, I opted for the less expensive flagstone repair. My front walkway's flagstone arrangement had degraded over years and the polymeric sand had essentially disappeared prompting weed growth in cracks and other unsightly developments. ,King Cut's staff arrived early on the day of the job and finished the job in one day as estimated (which included laying gravel rock down around portions of house for erosion control purposes). They also came on a day we weren't home, and had I been home, I would have caught that and saved us money. We've had to redo the area again six years later because it wasn't what we wanted or needed. They were very helpful in recommending the patio’s size/shape, kind of pavers, the railing for the step-down from the house and tying the new patio to an older existing patio. They designed the mailbox post to be extra sturdy and built it on the spot. They moved sizeable rocks around the mailbox to protect it from potential snowplow mishaps. I am extremely happy with the results! The patio and mailbox look great! (Psst! I wish I had used them on earlier projects). Bob and his team were always professional and accommodating.
