"An accident caused us to need a garage door repair. We called Precision Garage Door Service and a technician, Josh, was at my house within an hour. We discussed the options to repair or replace, deciding it was more beneficial to replace the door. We looked at door options, and was pleased to see that they all included a new door opener, LED lights, and an exterior key pad. The door was ordered. I was pleased that they offer zero percent interest financing. Two weeks later, as scheduled, Cesar Velasquez, showed up on time, worked hard for five hours and installed our new door and amenities. "George was very professional when we first dealt with him and did a satisfactory job.  However, when we wanted him to do smaller jobs, he did not respond or set up dates to come and then did not show up nor did he call.  His father, who is the actual owner of George's Painting, came to our house for an estimate to have 3 closet shelves installed (the metal mesh type) for hwich he wanted $650.00.  We thought that was entirely too much as the material cost less than $100.  We looked for someone else off of Angie's list and got an excellent person who only charged $200 which was more reasonable and on top of that did an excellent job.    In addition we are having numerous other things done at reasonable prices.  Had I waited a bit longer, I could have gotten my house painted much cheaper as well.  George is overpriced and does not respond when you call or will he make an appointment with you and then not keep it.  I am glad I found someone else who is capable of doing what we want, is professional, does excellent work and his price is more reasonable.    I have already had work done by this other company and we are very satisfied.

"We purchased a Big Deal & made an appointment to have our ill-fitting door readjusted & weather-stripping applied if needed.  After doing so I decided to speak with someone directly after reading some disappointing reviews.  The consensus was that there was a lack of communication & direction from Myriad, & that customers were left to assess their own problems as well as purchase whatever was needed BEFORE the technician actually showed up.  If we could assess & fix our own door, what would have been the purpose of buying the Big Deal?  Knowing that wouldn't work for us, my husband & I both sent emails & made phone calls to assure that wouldn't happen.  It still did.  When the technician did show up, he not only had the appt. time wrong, but also hadn't been correctly told what the problem was & naturally could do nothing about it.  He was at least very very nice.  While he waited, & my 2 hour window was depleting, I was sent back to the hardware store to buy different weatherstripping which he ultimately installed.  Definitely not worth $89 nor all the time we spent.
