"How did it go? VERY well! We were dreading hiring a contractor for replacing our roof, but we met EZ Home Solutions at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show in March 2022 & they helped us realize "dread" didn't need to be a part of replacing our roof. From the start, EZ Home Solutions took care of everything for us, including talking to our insurance company multiple times & walking us through each part of the process. The work was done professionally, the cleanup was complete and the end results was an excellent roof. :) I would highly recommend this company!"

"Jon and his team were fantastic, they are hardworking, quick, cleaned up the mess after, honest, did amazing work, expert craftsmanship. They have done many jobs for us in the last 10 years, both big ( huge kitchen remodel) and lots of small, ( things like replacing doors or windows, small Sheetrock repairs. Highly recommended by our family!!!"

"We contacted them and they repaired the hole and also put in a drain tile.  There was a question about whether there was another source of water leak and they came back to test the integrity of our foundation and found that everything was ok.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Sometimes there was a delay in getting a call back from them and a delay in having them come to do the work.  When they did come, the work was done well."

"We were in a tight time crunch to get some drywall and ceiling repair done in our house before we had it painted. I found Kurt on Angies list hoping that he could get it done in a few days time. Kurt was extremely flexible with our need to have rush work done, he rearranged his schedule to fit us in and did top notch work. Had I not already had work lined I would have had him just do all of out painting. Extremely professional, the quality of work is Grade A and he is so pleasant to work with. He was thorough and very clean and even offered up some suggestions for cleaning up Trim that I will probably just ask him to come back and fix. Communication was very easy and he was responsive and there was not a question that was left unanswered. I will hire Kurt for all my future painting and/or drywall work."

"<p>Aim High Construction provided a very thorough roof inspection, temporary repairs, and recommendations.  I was very impressed that, in addition to a detailed written report, they provided many pictures of problem areas to illustrate some of the problems they outlined.  The report also contained information about a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer of the shingles, stating I might be eligible for some compensation.  I would highly recommend this company.</p>"

"We had a leak in our basement that ended up being from our water softener, not from the outside, so we did not have Badger Basement perform services for us. However, they sent us a complimentary packet of information about water in the basement, and they were very nice to talk to on the phone. Ron called to confirm the appt. the night before, and arrived on time. He quickly assessed the problem, and even though we did not end up needing their services, he gave me a lot of great advice, and even followed up with a phone call to talk about a few things he thought of on his drive home. I did show him a spot in the basement where did have a minor leak from the outside and he quickly gave me a rough estimate. It was a very small leak and it only happened once during an extremely heavy rain, so we will not be addressing it at this time. But I know I will be calling them if it ever needs to be addressed. Very nice, very professional. We will absolutely work with them in the future, if needed."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Ellsworth, WI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
