"Cody showed up on time and installed 3 GFI outlets and came up with a better solution for a light switch somebody previously installed near the shower. He installed a GFI circuit breaker in the panel which included that light switch. The next morning on a Saturday, the outlet for the washer/dryer in basement was not working. I emailed Cody. He called me back that day and scheduled for the following Monday at the end of the day to check it out. He traced out the wiring to the panel and the wiring was loose for that outlet. He tightened the wiring and that was it. What really impressed me was that he said "No Charge" because he was the last one who opened that panel when he installed the circuit breaker which may have caused that loose outlet wiring. Honest, dependable, efficient and reasonable. Highly recommended."

"Scheduling an appointment was easy and they were able to schedule me a date and time that was convenient for me. They also gave me an estimate on the cost and even tried to give me suggestions on performing the services myself so I didn't have to pay someone else to do it. On the day of the service to be performed they had called a half hour before to confirm my appointment and a heads up. Both Brian and Von were very professional and courteous. They had put on masks before entering my house and even asked if we wanted them to keep their shoes on or have them taken off. They described what they had to do to get my nest thermostat to work and kept me updated throughout the duration of the service. Mr. John Sherlock arrived at the time and date specified to give us an estimate.  He returned the following day with his assistant and performed the job in one day.  He installed 26 copper lightning rods on the flat roof of our 7,000 square foot home.  These rods were connected with 500 feet of heavy duty copper cable and were grounded at three points with ground rods going down through the drainpipes into the ground. All parts of the system were securely attached to the roof.  He did a neat job and cleaned up all excess materials.  We were very pleased with the job him did.  Since installation of the lightning rod system we have had no trouble with lightning striking the house or causing power outages or surges.

"To be clear on what I am being asked to rate .... Choice is asking me to rate the repair service man that showed up to repair - NOT their warranty service itself. These are two different things. I rate the repair man - high. The warranty company itself - ONE STAR. See they advertise this great warrantee .... but when you go to use it ..... in all the fine print .... they write themselves out of responsibility to take care of your problem so BE CAUTIOUS when choosing to purchase this warranty. I have had this warranty for two years ... never needed it. Then my microwave goes on the blink. Took three weeks to get a repair man to my house and a resolution which ended in basically a non- resolution. They opted to replace vs. repair .... somehow figured my microwave was 10 years old - which is a joke and in the wind gave me $191 to replace it - and this is after I paid the $65 service fee. This is for replacement and installation. See in item #9 of the contract it states they ARE responsible for ALL components (excepts handles, door glass, etc). BUT ... then in #16 it states they do not have to repair ... they can opt to offer replacement costs (THEIR supposed costs - which is NOT retail) so for my $319 microwave +$110 installation it is costing me to replace - They OPTED to give me $$191 minus my $65 service fee ..... which ends up being $123. This is a bunch of ********. They know it and I know it. SO .... if this is how they do on a microwave .... I can ONLY imaging what they will do on something big. So ..... I have zero confidence in this company at this point and as soon as this claim settles out - I receive my whopping $191 ... I plan to cancel this warranty and go with another home warranty company. Maybe they will appreciate my business because this one sure did not. They proved that on this small claim. I do t trust them to risk it if there happened to be a larger claim. Horrible is all I can say."
