"The following day I sent thisnote: Vauna, I want to thank you, Ari, and your crew for the work done yesterday at my house in New Rochelle. I am very grateful you were able to fit us in so quickly; scheduling the job when my contractor could meet you while we were away overnight meant that we were able to do everything in one day with minimal disruption. I fully understand how much more difficult it is to do retrofit work than new construction and your crew handled themselves very well, carefully covering the floors with drop cloths and all of our possessions with plastic and cleaning up when they were finished.  I thought they were careful and thorough in sealing the rim joist and injecting tripolymer into the walls without insulation. Of course we now have a lot of patching and painting to do, but I believe it was all worthwhile. We will not be certain until it is cold again but I can already feel that the house is less drafty.
Three weeks later:   The work was done at the end of March and the weather is improving --slowly--so we won't really put the new insulation to the test until next year but it is definitely the case that the HOUSE IS LESS DRAFTY.  My 90 year old mother immediately stopped using the space heater that  had run continually in her room from September till June.

"Each of the interior and exterior teams had a team leader who was responsible for managing the project, getting my input and making sure I was kept updated at all times, most of which they accomplished with text messages. They tried to be as unobtrusive as possible and did a good job sticking to the schedule. 
In several cases, I had things that had been bothering me for years, doors that didn't close right; when I mentioned them to the team leader, these things were put right. They also helped me understand which things I could do myself to keep the price down, so that helped me manage the tab. 
They were excellent at covering things, making sure to clean up afterwards, and put the furniture back in the right place using their cell phone cameras to remember the layout.
I came and went with my schedule, and felt comfortable leaving them in the house; they were great at making sure to let my dog out If I was running late.
My house is an old Victorian with a lot of woodwork and the original windows. These guys excel at woodwork, which is where the mediocre painters get outed. It's hard to do well. Their surface prep is also perfect, so if your old plaster walls need a master hand, this is who you call. 
I have used them for about 17 years, and always for the work I really, really care about. They might not be my first choice to slap some paint on the basement wall - anyone can do that - but when I want it done right, Nick is my first call. Leadership sets the tone, and Nick's team take a lot of pride in their work and in caring for the customer. They are all polite, kind and attentive. 
I look for service providers with integrity and for those who care about doing great work. I'm not looking for price over quality - I want a good experience. You get that with iPaint.

"The old roof had 2 layers which was torn off and replaced with GAF shingles. Ice and water shields were installed where needed and copper flashing was placed around the chimney. Deck Armor was used as the underlayment and a ridge vent was also installed. My roof was 1850 sq. feet in area. The crew was efficient and the job took 2 days to complete as I also had a "plastic" roof over my deck replaced which was a separate job from the main roofing job and not part of the $8410 price. The original contract allowed for 5 free plywood sheets to be installed if needed. Unfortunately I needed 36 sheets to be replaced. Each additional sheet cost $60 which changed the cost of the job significantly. When I complained to Rich (the owner) he took off $200 which effectively lowered the cost of each sheet to $53. At Home Depot each sheet costs about $19.45 if not bought in bulk. Of course the labor needed to install the sheet drives up that price dramatically. My personal opinion was the price per sheet still should have been under $50 but on the other hand Rich did not have to lower the price at all. In the end it was a fair compromise. My only real complaint was they neglected to clean the gutters. When I inspected the job after a rain I found over 3 dozen nails, wood splinters, and roof fragments in the gutters. Overall the job was done well but the real test will be if the water and ice shields will stop a leak in my kitchen window area when it snows and the durability of the roof itself. Finally when submitting a review you must answer yes or no to whether you would hire a company again. In this case my answer is really maybe depending on whether the estimate of the project is more competitive."

"This project went very, very well. The problem was that a big section of 100 year plaster ceiling had given way and fallen down. Carmine expertly went about repairing it and when he was done the ceiling looked like nothing had ever happened to it. Plus he really cleaned up the area where he had worked and left the room immaculate. Carmine really knows his craft and was a pleasure to work with at every stage from initial estimate through completion."

"We called Timeless Deck Restoration for an estimate. John was very prompt in returning our call. He gave us the estimate but he complained about walking a few feet from the parking lot. Literally didn't want to park in the guest parking in our condo development. I had to explain to him that this was where he needed to go.
Other than that, he was very professional. We thought the price ($750 included paint) was a little high to power wash and stain our deck.
Our deck is about 24 feet by 18 feet.
We ended up having to paint it because he said the wood wouldn't hold the stain. We were ok with that decision and went ahead with it.
John also fixed a hole left in our ceiling left by the plumbers, and did an excellent job on it.
He was honest, reliable and also a perfectionist. His helper was very professional and worked diligently alone side John.
We will have him back when we need our deck re-done.
Overall, a very good experience.
I think John just was over-conscientous about doing everything and I mean EVERYTHING by the book.
