"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. I will definitely hire M&L again for future landscaping jobs, and I highly recommend them to others. My lawn now looks nice and neat, can't wait for the new grass to grow. Thank you, Leo and crew!"

"Tracy and Bob are very professional! I had no issues with install. Every year they turn on and winterize my system. I had my septic system pumped and the company punctured a hole in one of my lines. Bob came out to home promptly to fix the problem. Prices are very reasonable. I get so many compliments on how well my grass looks."

"Dragonfly was recommended to me, so I contacted Dave Guldi. He came and looked at my yard, was personable and knowledgeable, and told me he would get back to me within a day or two with an estimate. I spoke to the other members of my condo, who raised some questions that I hadn't thought to ask Dave when we met in person. So I emailed a few days later to check in about the estimate and to ask these follow up questions. Dave emailed me back to say that he felt I was "being pressured to install irrigation," was uncomfortable doing the work for me and was saying no to the job. It seemed to me that he drew this conclusion based on the fact that I asked some follow up questions (about different options, pricing, and approach). It seemed odd and unprofessional to me that he either felt uncomfortable with questions, or rejected the job based on an assumption about what I was feeling. I am guessing he does perfectly good work, however I think his communication skills are poor."

They spent the day cleaning, edging and mulching the gardens, and he explained that if we keep this maintenance up yearly in a few years weeds will be a thing of our past. We will certainly be calling Rogero again for this same service next year and the year after that (as well as any other landscaping needs that might come up). "I've rated Hartney Greymont an overall C because the estimate they provided me for removal of 3 large oaks and stump grinding was DOUBLE what two other tree companies estimated. The two other tree companies came in at about the same price, so I don't understand how HG came up with such a high estimate. I did think that the gentleman who came out to meet me was professional and I would have probably chosen HG if it weren't for the much higher estimate. I rated HG a C overall, because of the high estimate and also the somewhat sluggish response to my initial request for an estimate, but they seemed very professional. But I believe I will select one of the other companies to do the tree work."

"I sought estimates from two companies & Lisco came in substantially lower than the other estimate -- while seeming more professional. After the initial estimate acceptance, irrigation team showed up as scheduled and installed entire irrigation system in a day. The lawn took some abuse in the process -- as expected -- but it hardly shows & the team was generally very careful to minimize damage as much as possible. They closed all trenches, smoothed any bare soil & re-seeded where necessary. Very thorough, walking me through the controller operation twice."
