"We had storm damage from March 2016. We had been contacted by another company and we did not feel warm and fuzzy about their business. I had met Mike Gregory and mentioned our situation. He asked me to consider DWC. We are SO glad we did. The made the repair process so easy! Mike helped guide us thru replacing our damaged roof on our house as well as the roof panels on our sunroom, all new replacement siding, and gutters. What a beautiful home we now have! The crews were all so professional and cared for our home as if it were their own home! They arrived on time each day and were so neat and well organized. It was so easy working with Mike and all of the team at DWC. We are so happy that we chose DWC, and we highly recommend their services. We love our "new" home! "This was an experiment for me in use of an interior designer online. THe consultant was helpful in directing me to useful websites to review products and encouraged me to look widely and that was useful. Otherwise I found it difficult to use her services. The online aspect is one reason - looking at colors, e.g. wall colors and considering them for a particular space is difficult to do given than monitors and lighting change the look of things. Also, one cannot get the sense of e dimensional space from 2 dimensional tools
In addition, she was only allowed to advise me on one room and I have an open space that includes living, dining and kitchen areas, all of which had to be considered together. It was frustrating that she was not allowed to think about the other spaces when I had to think about all of them together.
The designer pushed me to choose a rug before choosing living room furniture but I preferred to choose the furniture first as it is more difficult to replace. She was not able to be flexible on this account. Also, when I did not seem interested in buying through their service she seemed to loose interest.
It often took several days for the consultant to get back to me. That is the area where I most fault the individual as opposed to the set up of online consulting.
In the end, I made my own choices and am happy with them. The experience gave me more confidence in my own instincts.
