"This is our third project with D&D and I expect they'll be our default for all future landscaping projects. Paul Doherty personally specs out each job and manages the project. The workers are professional, attentive to detail and unceasingly polite and friendly. Our most recent job hit a snag when the fencing that D&D had included in the estimate was unavailable because of damage from late-winter snowstorms. No problem: the workers built a fence for us instead. The change in plans probably added two days to the planned schedule, but there were no complaints, no griping about additional cost and no changes to the final price. Having dealt with many contractors over the years, I've come to appreciate how rare it is when they show up on time, complete the job to spec and charge what they say they will charge. D&D Mulch hits on every critical point. I highly recommend them."

"Workers were very communicative; prompt and careful with existing plants. They also cleaned up well afterward. It remains to be seen how drain works in winter conditions and had some issue with a $50 charge I did not see buried in fine print (thought it should have been on page one with the cost summary), but drain looks great and lawn is coming back in decently (rain day after caused seed to collect in pools and I had to rake as best I could to spread). If drain works as expected, I would upgrade to 5 stars."

"First task was to determine optimum design of mulch bed. Once we agreed on design, work commenced to clean existing bed, trim existing shrub, plant additional shrubs, plant one small tree and finally mulch entire bed. Scott and his team showed up on time and basically worked most of day to achieve this goal. Scott also provided helpful information regarding care of new plants and tree.
Revitalizing lawn was a more difficult task. Scott took the time to explain what steps needed to take and in what sequence to maximize results. He also suggested best time in fall to start this process. We agreed on steps and start date. Again Scott's team showed up on time worked most of the day where they dethatched, aerated, placed loam on portions of lawn, planted seed and finally fertilized. Scott provided instructions for watering and mentioned the importance of following these instruction. Scott also checked progress of job after completion to help with any potential issues.

"Approx. 2 yrs. ago, I contracted with Green By Me to reconfigure my entire sprinkler system. Dan & his crew were prompt, professional, & personable; they added a 3rd zone to my 2-zone system, expanding coverage to areas I previously had to water by hand. Additionally, they replaced all of the "big box hardware store" parts with much higher quality (commercial-grade) ones. The system coverage of my lawn is better than it ever was before; I no longer have any dry areas that require hand-watering. During this past winter, my snowplow driver inadvertently clipped the spray head off of 1 of the sprinkler units, so I thought it would be a good idea to get Dan back out for repairs. I gave him a call; he & crew came out the next morning, despite this being the start of their busy season. (Luckily for me, they were able to squeeze me in between other jobs.) The broken part got replaced; the entire system was checked out & spray heads reoriented as necessary to ensure excellent coverage. As to cost, I feel their prices are more than competitive; Green By Me provides great value, incl. top-level service before, during & after the services are performed. I would gladly recommend Green By Me for any irrigation system installation or repairs. I just wish I would've found them about 5 years earlier!"
