"The contractor was courteous, conscientious, and did quality work in a timely manner. The only real problem was with the stucco sub-contractors who, while they did a good job, made a mess. They were not his first choice but both of us had hard deadlines and it's who he could get to do the work. Contractor did his best to clean up the mess. He coordinated with the garage door provider/installer, and made a special trip to install wiring we thought the garage door people wold provide. <br />"

"Excellent service. Professional - the person that gave the quote explained everything very clearly. The Installer (garage door opener and replacement of some parts on the actual door) was excellent and thorough. Tech cleaned up the wiring that was there and added some reinforcements. The previous door had not been installed very well. (Handyman special maybe?) There was an issue with the new opener kicking the breaker so I had to get an electrician our before I could use it. I went from 1/2 horse to 3/4 horse, which the electrician said I didn't I need due to size of door- 1 car small garage. I had no idea what I really "needed". I would recommend company though I think they are a bit pricey (But generally you get what you pay for.) and I maybe should have researched horse power needs before committing."

He explained every aspect of the work in layman’s term, as I am not familiar with drawings and blueprints. He even went as far as to show how one could save on the constructing of the building. " I called May Construction for a quote before checking with Angies List. We were considering replacing old worn-out windows in our older manufactured home with newer design double pane vinyl windows. Steve May was able to find a source and got us a quote for both the standard trailer home type windows and the more expensive energy efficient windows. We were very serious about getting the better windows but after more research and consideration of the economic sense of our situation we decided to go with the standard windows. <br />   <br />  After the window order came in we got the call and scheduled the installation.Steve and his crew arrived on time and went right to work. Most of the window installations required some modification of the window framing due to a little difference in the replacement window frame depth. This was unavoidable because the original old window design were not being made anymore. Not really much extra work and there was no extra charge. One window opening had some old wood damage from water leaks in the past. It looked to me like it would need some rebuilding of the wood framing but they were able to install the window without any restoration. They also repaired the inside sill of that window which looked pretty bad in the corner of that window frame. It turned out looking like it was new. <br />  Overall it was a pleasant experience. <br />"

"(Project #2)  Last winter  (Feb 2014) they replaced all of our bathroom cabinets and countertops.  <br /> (Project #1)  Summer of 2013 they did major cleanup of the house just after we purchased it.  Removed old tile and carpets, replaced with new tile throughout.  Replaced all plumbing/water lines,  new toilets and lovely tile master shower. <br /> Nate Lyon prepared very detailed bids that clearly show all costs.  Troy Ruckman, project manager, did a great job scheduling all the subs, so the projects flowed smoothly.  We have had the same team throughout this process. <br /> Project #1 was done while we were out of state and Troy was good at keeping me up to date by phone and sent lots of photos and videos during the process. <br /> Project #2 happened while we lived onsite,  the workers were all very skilled and respectful. <br /> <br />"
