"Next Level did an excellent job resolving my standing water issue in my backyard. I felt comfortable for the first time in a very long time walking in the backyard without having to avoid mud, puddles of water, and mowing the lawn with confidence of not turning wet areas into a muddy mess. Next Level explained what were materials used and how the drainage system operates. Even after long periods of rain, Next Level was able to salvage the top layer of grass and was able to place it back after installation of the drainage system without me having to re-sod the yard. In doing so, saved me money, which is a blessing. After the work was over and a little TLC, it didn't take long for my lawn to recover. Next Level did an excellent job with the drainage system. "My family was very happy with the services provided by Superior Landscaping. At first our project started out small but as my wife and I became more appreciative of Troy and his honest feedback and recommendations, we expanded the scope to include more services. 1.) Installation of french drain - We started with just a french drain to address standing water issues in our front and side yards. Superior installed a "horseshoe" french drain the surrounded both sides of the house and backyard, draining water from the gutters, sump pump and yard to the street. After 1+ month since the french drain was installed we've noticed a tremendous improvement with the usability of our yard after a heavy rainfall. No more soggy/muddy spots. The materials used and dimensions for the trench seemed very good to allow for the needed drainage. 2.) Installation of Patio and Retaining Walls/Garden Edging - We expanded the project to gain more usable space in our backyard with the addition of a patio and retaining wall. The work involved excavation of areas around an existing deck to create a flat and usable patio for entertaining. It allowed us a nice space to place a firepit, chairs and also an area where our children can play. With the patio a retaining wall was installed that also has the height to serve as a sitting area. This was expanded the other garden beds in the front and back of the house. The craftsmanship of the work was top notch. 3.) With all the excavation required, we included the installation of sod to our back yard and part of our side yards. Proper compost soil and very fresh sod were laid down. A month later the grass looks amazing! All garden beds were also mulched and trees were trimmed to allow for more sunlight in the backyard."

"This went well. My lawn was much thicker a year later, more like a rug, and it looked much more healthy. They were the only lawn specialists who pointed out that soil in my area is "clay-based" and that required continual watering. This was different from the "gardner's" advice on the radio. It worked. They suggested setting up electronic lawn systems with timers. All very good. My only problem is that they failed to fertilize my back yard several time. That lawn has declined."

"They worked very hard to level and square the retaining walls and patios. We were very impressed by the lack of cutting corners. Our original patio and retaining walls were never properly installed and they appear to have corrected this problem. For years, we also had a drainage problem on the two sides of the house. They installed a French drain on one side and a basin drain on the other. Time will tell if this completely solves the problem, but the drains were working over the last two days of rain. We were so impressed by the quality of their work that we are having them come back to do a few more landscaping items.
