"STAY AWAY! First the good: We hired K and K in 2014 for some big projects in our then-new home (new to us). We had them install carpets in 4 large bedrooms, replace carpets with hardwoods on our second floor, and refinish all the hardwoods on our main level. My POC was Michael, they were very reasonably priced, and Michael and K and Ks crew were nothing short of amazing. As a result, when we wanted to replace the carpet in our family room in 2019, I called only one flooring contractor: K and K (specifically Michael). They replaced the carpet in our family room on February 8, 2019, and everything went well. That was in 2014 and 2019. Now the bad: A year later, the carpet in our family room started to buckle. I reached out to Michael, and he promised K and K would stretch the carpet. He indicated that K and K was overbooked and asked for patience, which I gave. He kept putting me off for well over a year. One day, a new representative, Ricardo, answered Michaels line and indicated that Michael had left the company. I asked Ricardo to honor K and K s promise to stretch the carpet and also to provide some estimates on additional projects. Ricardo agreed to stretch the carpet and also provided the requested estimates. Three months later, Ricardo informed me that K and K management had decided not to fix the carpet unless we agreed to hire them for additional projects. I was shocked that after an eight year relationship, they had decided to renege on their promises (and over such a small job - stretching our family room carpet) and actually attempted to blackmail me into hiring them for additional work! So I say again - STAY AWAY! This company has slipped a lot over the past eight years and does not honor their commitments."

"The installation crew at Floors and Designs did excellent work ? our new floors look fantastic, and they were professional and efficient. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. A promised military discount was not honored, and when I raised the issue, the owner became unprofessional, dismissive, sarcastic, and argumentative instead of listening to concerns. He repeatedly focused on what he claimed were ?discounts? he had already given rather than resolving the matter in good faith. Additionally, a miscommunication about our stairs left the carpet stained, and the owner refused to address it. Because of the crew?s workmanship, I am giving two stars. However, due to the owner?s lack of professionalism and unwillingness to stand by his word, I cannot recommend this company."

"Wow! Look at the hardwood flooring we had installed on 4-15-24 on the stairs and the whole second floor. It only took 2 days! The whole job cost $10,680 for hardwood upstairs the stairs to the first floor. We paid $2100 for high quality vinyl for the stairs going to the basement with the landing, plus tax. I got 2 other quotes from well-known companies. The estimates for the exact same job were $18,473 and $22,250. The company with the highest quote was very nice and informative. He told me his crews have been with him for 20 years. I was tempted, but just couldn’t pay close to double the price. The 3 man crew that came Monday worked FAST. The lead man has been with his boss for exactly 20 years, since he was 16 years old. He did all of the stair work, beautifully. The second day he came alone and finished the job. We Love our new floors!"
