After further research, other plumbers, bonded and insured or not, charge anywhere from 120 to 350 at most for the job I described above. At the end of the day, it's on me for being a sucker, but I know now not to trust Angi's approval rating before moving forward. The ONLY reason I am not giving them a one star: The actual plumber who did the work (Jared) did a fantastic job and was incredibly nice and professional. The operations manager who I spoke with (Brayden), although I don't believe most of what he told me, did end up giving me a slight discount (15%). "
