"A+! THIS IS HOW SERVICE CALLS SHOULD ALL GO! I was given a service window between 9:00 and 11:30 am. To my delight, Eyal, the technician from Aviv Appliances arrived at 9:25. After explaining the problem, he immediately diagnosed the problem of a clogged condensation drain line, showed me where the problem was, what was causing it. He fixed the problem and offered a simple remedy to prevent future occurrences and the need for a service call. Additionally, the dishwasher was leaking during operation, and I was worried that the seal or gasket had gone bad. The technician diagnosed the problem as a dirty spray head and that the way dishes were loaded blocked the spray rotation. He cleaned and reset the part, returned it to its place and showed what to look out for in the future. The technician also offered tips for routine maintenance to optimize performance and cleaning. I have dealt with a variety of technicians in the past, some even replaced parts unnecessarily and charged for the "extra" labor. All I was charged today was the $99 minimum service charge I was quoted over the phone when making the appointment. I will not need service on these appliances any time soon, but his honesty, professionalism and willingness to offer advice left no doubt in my mine who I am going to call next time for any appliance service. "Regarding the first job to replace the shower door rollers, David called me the night before to confirm what was needed and said he would call me the next morning when he was on his way. He arrived on time and immediately got to work. Because of the design of the shower door assembly, Dave had to remove both doors and since I had already purchased replacement roller wheels, I decided to replace all the roller wheels on both doors. The doors now work perfectly. The second time I called was to fix the casement window in my living room. The lock handle broke off with the window in the locked position. I spoke to Daniel McElreavey to set up an appointment and was told he doesn't do work in Philadelphia, but he had a handyman he works with and would relay my problem to him. He said he was meeting up with the handyman in about 1/2 hour that same day and told me to email him pictures of the window and lock, which I did. I never heard back from either Daniel or the handyman and that is why I gave such a low rating."

"There were a lot of issues initially and I contacted Angie’s List and you were able to help us resolve it. What happened was that I got the deal, I wanted my daughter to use it because the kind of windows that they were going to install weren’t appropriate for my house and I felt that my daughter can profit from that under the circumstances better than I could. So she took the deal and it was not so good initially because apartments were not kept but it turned out fine because they got the windows done and they were pleased with them. They honored the price for two windows. The problem was with scheduling and that sort of thing. The issue was not really honoring the commitment to come at a certain time or to get the work done by a certain time. They did a good job of installation once they did it. I only had one contact with them and I wasn’t happy with that because he wanted to do a complete inspection of the house and I was focused on the windows not so much so on insulation. So I knew that wasn’t good for me and I wasn’t happy with that interaction but here again, in all fairness my daughter was satisfied with the interaction that she had."

There was much attention to detail in installing the new shingles, and necessary unexpected repairs that were identified were done without delay. The workers are efficient and effective. The areas are gone over and left spotless with followup people coming by the next day to be sure all is in order."

"Wesley and team did our entire interior and rear exterior of house. Very complicated project (intricate) and time consuming. It was an entire house gut, so we dealt with a ton of subcontracts. Wesley and his team were probably the best (or at least top 3) we dealt with. Always first there and last to leave. very flexible with other contractors working in the space. Nice guys and always responds via text."
