We had a good feeling about hiring Dan for our project from his first visit to our house to provide the estimate.  As we discussed the various details of the door installation (both front and back doors), insulation requirements, and finish carpentry my husband and I found that we were on the same page as Dan.  He answered our questions and explained how he would proceed, which quickly put us at ease.  He followed up with a reasonable price quote so we gladly hired him.

Initially, Dan delayed starting our project because his helper had limited availability but once he started things proceeded smoothly.  We purchased the doors from Home Depot and Dan picked them up for us, saving us from paying delivery charges.  On the first day he removed the old doors, prepped the openings, then installed the new doors.  He wasn't able to finish the work for a few days because of inclement weather but he did return and complete everything

Dan handled every little detail, including: adding quarter-round oak molding to the inside threshold, using foam insulation between the door jamb and frame of the house, using masonry caulk between the exterior molding and the stone of our house.  He also installed composite molding (as we requested) to the exterior to prevent future maintenance issues.

In summary, Dan went the extra mile to handle every little detail of our project and the results are outstanding.  We look forward to hiring Dan in the near future.

"It went pretty well. My house didn't get any warmer, because I discovered that I needed windows.  For some reason, they couldn't tell me that I needed windows. I put some plastic over some of the windows, and the change was almost instant. I would have rather put the money I spent for the insulation into putting in new windows. They were professional, and they did a good job. They just missed that I needed windows instead of insulation."

"Work went well with the exception of one mishap. While installing shingles, an Impriano roofer hammered a nail through the roof deck that punctured the copper refrigerant line to our central A/C unit in our attic. Impriano's small print in the contract states, among other things, that it is not responsible for A/C lines running under roof decks. In fact, the small print is so extensive that it is basically a get out of jail free card for just about anything that could go wrong. Perhaps this is standard in the industry. Horizon Services had installed the A/C unit and lines, The copper tubing was not shielded as apparently required by Lower Merion Township's code. So of course Impriano took no responsibility. The Lower Merion Twp. code inspector did nothing. Finally after much arguing with Horizon Services I had to pay them $1800 to replace a section of copper tubing so that the warranty would remain in force on the rather new central A/C system that they had installed. Very frustrating that the roofing job ended up costing me an extra $1800 and no one would cut me a break. However, all other aspects of the roof replacement went well. The Impriano crew was hard-working and we are very happy with the new roof. I am often in our attic because we store things there. So I would notice any leak from the roof. More than a year later there have been no leaks. So although I had a bit of bad luck, I would still recommend Impriano Roofing. I know now to pay more attention to anything that is close to the roof deck on the inside. Only wish the roofer had."

"I called Wesley in April for an estimate  and he promply returned my call and came to the house.   His estimate was middle of the pack and we believe very fair.  We originally shot for a June date, but with all of the rain, they didn't start until July 14th and that week worked Monday - Saturday.  They returned the following week for a day or two to finish up.  His crew was here every day by 8AM and were vey professional, accommodating and skilled.  The house is large and all brick.  They painted all the window trim, soffits, front and back porches, shutters and end gables.  They power washed, repaired all of the rotted wood on shutters and porch pillars, primed and painted.  That I know of, Wesley himself was only here one day for a few minutes, but he touched base often and we were confident in the work that his crew did.  The house looks stunning and the work is near impeccable.

"Tracey is a great front person to work with for estimating and scheduling the work. She was reachable, responsive and caring. Projects involved 1) opening an entry from hallway to bathroom and installing a door (that was a major project), 2) converting a walking closet to a den including patching up the walls and the carpet, and adding a power outlet, 3) installing a ceiling light fixture in family room, 4) fixing a couple of bedroom doors, 5) painting a few areas, and 6) installing a dimmer switch. Hugo, Tuan and Jeremy showed up on time. They were highly professional, personable, caring, and very pleasant to work with. They worked on the above projects at the same time and after one and a half days, the place looked great. They cleaned up afterwards and made sure all issues are addressed. We were very happy with the outcome and will definitely hire them again."
