"In November 2024, I signed a contract for bathroom work to replace the tub, shower walls, fixtures, install a glass piece and floor. Where upon I gave a 1/3 deposit. The contract stated that work was to begin on January 6,2025. It did not start till February 19th, but was not notified till I called to confirm the start the date was on schedule. I gave another 1/3 payment when work started on the 19th. Work was completed except for the glass piece where upon I gave a final payment of 1/3, minus $500 for glass and rod installation, and finish trim around shower walls. After inspection of the job, I found it to be very unsatisfactory, plus several damages to my walls, woodwork and stains on carpets. I made several attempts from February-May to contact Bath Flip to get work completed and got no response. The glass piece was finally installed in April. So here it is 6 months later, and my bathroom work is still not completed. I have spent hours cleaning and patching walls. "

I spent quite a bit of time interviewing and getting quotes for a major 2 story deck project for my house which included some intense structural improvements to my house as well, since some of the existing columns where in tough shape. "I had the estimate for the work done which went fine, then called to book the appointment. Was required to put down $200 for the $650 projected repair cost. I did this thinking there would be no issues between then and the repair date. My wife is quite pregnant and we had to move up the repair date to get the nursery ready in time for their birth. (twins) When I called to cancel this appointment and seek a refund of the $200, I was told that the window to cancel was 3 days from the scheduling and that I was forfeit my deposit. This information is in the contract, but I did not catch it at the time. I could only imagine if this were a bigger project and something like this happened to someone else. For the cost of $200 Pioneer Basement has not only lost me as a future customer, but forced my hand in posting several poor reviews such as this one. For any future customers, pay very close attention to this and hope "life" doesn't happen to you in between. Good luck."
