I was surprised because my dryer is 20 years old and I was afraid I would have to buy a new one. Larry is very personable and a pleasure to do business with. "I have used action appliance many times in the past with no problems. My only problem this time is they arrived as planned. They tell you it is $129.50 for diagnosing the problem. And if they do the repair it is $239. The young man showed up and found the plastic tubing from the ice maker wasn't seated properly in the incoming receptacle. He said it would be $239 to fix it -- which I though OK. All he did was feed more of the plastic line (coiled up) from the inside of the fridge to the outside of the fridge in the back. He then took the line seated in receptacle, cut off a foot of line, and seated it in the receptacle. This took no more than 10 minutes -- then charged me $239!!! I think this is absolutely ridiculous for 10 minutes of work. Talk about a rip-off."
