I received a call back from Vernon about 2 hours later and he asked me when I needed it done; this week or next week. I told him I would rather have it done this week but I could wait until later if necessary. He said he had 3 or 4 jobs scheduled for today and if they all went smooth; he may be able to do it this afternoon if that was ok. I said that would be great if he could. Vernon called me later in the day an said he could do it now if that was ok. He said he would be there as soon as he finished rapping up the job he was on. Vernon was there in a little while and looked over the job and explained what he was going to do. He did an excellent job and cleaned up when he was done. Vernon is pleasant to deal with and did a great job."

"I purchased a coupon special for this company to do an A/C diagnostic. Wow, one of the best service experiences I've had in some time. Henry and John arrived at my house, and donned shoe booties before entering. They went to work checking my indoor unit first, and joked of what a shame for them that my system was in such good shape. LOL. These guys were very professional, yet personable. After checking the existing system output, they went outside to check on that unit. Henry told me my freon level was low, and even took me outside to show me the gauges and what the numbers meant. My coupon price of $59 included up to 1 pound of freon if needed, but Henry said I'd probably need 2 pounds, for an extra cost of $65. He came back inside and rechecked system output, and my, what a difference. Before they came, my system would run for hours just to keep the temp in the house at 75 deg. He set the thermostat to 70 before he started, and the system shut off at 70 degrees just after they left, After cleaning up, I was only charged $50 for the extra freon. All in all, I'm very pleased with this company, and will not hesitate to use them again when I need service."

Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Don't even know where to start, to be honest. My furnace just died during a historic cold front in the US and my home was 47°. I had my normal HVAC guy come out and look at it and he said he'd need to order the part and it would be here next week. Unfortunately that'd mean I'd be in a hotel until next week too. After making a dozen calls, I called him and he said he could fix it tonight. I was skeptical because I had been told otherwise so many times within the previous hour, but the dude is legit. He just left my home and got the job done, earlier than originally scheduled, too. The price was right and I couldn't be happier. He saved me $100's by not having to get a hotel. Safe to say, I have a new HVAC guy now. I can't recommended these guys enough, SERIOUSLY."

"On Friday, as I was quietly eating supper, and NOT turning anything different electrical on, my overhead lights in the dining room and kitchen suddenly went dark. I found a) the breaker was tripped for the #6 circuit and b) even when I turned off everything on the #6, the breaker continued to trip. That meant there was a short somewhere in the line independent of what was plugged into it or turned on in it. I called another electrical company, and the operator informed me somewhat huffily that they were closed. I asked to speak to an electrician because I wanted to confirm that the house was safe, and all I got was "We're closed." I came back to Angie's List and the second name listed was Saffer Plumbing, which had done a good job with pluming for us earlier, so I called them and clicked on their emergency service. The nice man said that their office was closed, but he would have their electrician call me back. Which Jerry did. We established that as long as the breaker was off, there was no current to the short, so it was safe. I had other circuits to light the house, and all essential service was on the good circuits. Jerry came out on Saturday, did a quick check, and I made a new appointment for Thursday. Jerry estimated it would take 3-4 hours to find the short. He and his son found it in an hour and a half. It was in an exterior wall where the BX cable probably had rusted out. He was wonderful. His company goes by Trustworthy Electricians, but is going to be under Saffer Plumbing, The cost was very reasonable."

"Made initial appointment 5 days in advance. On the appointment day, I phoned early afternoon to hear that my repairs had not been scheduled. Plumbers then arrived within the next hour, or so. Fixed leaking valve leading to the main line, and "snaked" bathroom sink. Took photos of tub/shower valves to order a replacement unit and gave an initial price estimate $240). After 10 days, never received a return phone call. Called office to receive a return phone calls explaining that part had not been ordered, and that there was an estimate of $625 to install a new valve unit."
