"Mid-America's rep came two or three times to ascertain our needs. He spent a lot of time just asking questions, discussing possibilities, etc., and was always punctual and professional. He never tried to "sell" us anything, but simply asked questions about what we wanted. He brought books, samples of wood, and other resources to help us make an informed decision, and he provided TONS of advice. Once he had a clear idea of what we wanted, he drew plans and began discussing costs. Everything was detailed in a written contract. The cabinets and shelves were built off site, then delivered and installed. Installation took about two days and also was done thoroughly and professionally. The entire process from start to finish took six weeks, maybe two months. The shelves are absolutely beautiful, and they are perfectly installed. We are completely satisfied. Truth is, we had very good experiences with every company that gave us estimates and projected costs were comparable. The thing that sold us on Mid-America is the impression we got that they really wanted our business. It never seemed to be "just another job" to them. When they said they'd call, they did. When they made an appointment with us, they showed up...and on time. When they brought the shelves, they installed them with care and meticulous attention to detail. And they billed us exactly as contracted. We recommend them highly."

When they were done, the cleaned up their work site before heading out. I couldn't be more pleased with this service. "It went very well , I ordered the cabinets the end of Aug and it took about a month for them to complete they were done and ready to install the last week in Sept there was a problem with the stain color but Tom ensured they were done right and I was happy . "Starting on 4/22/13, R&R has 1) scraped the popcorn off all the ceilings in the house 2) replaced carpet in basement with tile 3) replaced main floor with hardwoods 3) painted all interior walls, 4) replaced the powder room door with a pocket door 5) updated the kitchen (closed off 2 doorways, moved & enlarged the pass-thru, removed soffits, replaced fluorescent lights with can lights, installed custom cabinets, ran gas line for cooktop) 6) replaced all interior doors 7) replaced bannister with knee wall 8) updated powder room and guest bath in basement. They're about to update the master bath (last room left). I'm very pleased with their work (which is why I keep using them). Their subs are polite and (for the most part) clean up after themselves. The work has been done to my satisfaction (cause I let them know when I'm not happy)."
