"The process went smoothly initially with Cameron and then the Forman Jeff. We hit a couple of snags through the process but Jeff kept if informed of the issues and worked through them as quickly as possible. We were initially concerned of having renovations happening while we were living in the home but the crew made sure that the place clean every time they left and for the most part it didn’t impact our home. Now we have a beautiful master suite and couldn’t be happier."

"From start to finish our experience with Romana was outstanding. Mike estimated our full project (demo old garage, new floor and foundation, and new 2-car garage). Our project was unique since we were asking them to build a detached garage that would be insulated, drywalled and heated so some of the questions we asked were not run of the mill (i.e. we wanted a heavier vapor barrier and wire mesh in addition to fiber mesh blended into the mix). We elected to use Romana for the concrete only, and we could not be happier. <br /> Mike was extremely responsive up until and during the actual concrete pouring (I texted him just about every day). His brother Joe and their crew could not have been nicer. They told us when they would show up, they arrived on time, worked diligently, and left our yard very clean after they were gone. We could not believe how quickly they took up the old concrete and poured the new. <br /> We were also on a tight schedule nearing the end of the conrete season due to weather, and we only ended up pushing the form and pour dates back by a few days due to rain earlier in the scheduled week. <br /> Overall Romana's service, quality, cleanliness, responsiveness, and caring were impeccable. Their bid was a bit higher than what we had been quoted by a competitor, but it was worth a few extra dollars for us to have the job done right and this fall. We will be using them for our driveway in the spring. <br />"

"My basement had years of water damage. The cinder block walls were ugly and the orange stained cement floor was a mess. Following a permanent water drainage system I put in place last year, I hired Life Construction & Design to work some magic. And, that they did. They knew exactly what to do in my situation, they coordinated the team of workers, and the quality of the work was superb. It's a remarkable transformation. I also had a sump pump issue post-project completion that caused some water to get under my new floating vinyl floor, and although it wasn't their issue, the team came out and helped me troubleshoot the issue. I was VERY grateful. Yes, I'd hire them again."

What started off as a railing job quickly turned into a decking and railing job once Carl and his crew brought up a potential safety hazard that would have been left if the decking was not done at the same time. A couple day job turned into a week but they were able to adjust quickly and the project turned out great. We also requested/received a quote for a new garage; the only reason we didn't use Carl is because we had a family member who was interested in completing that project. "<p>We were so fortunate that Tom Buscemi agreed to take on the renovation of our 1910 lakeside house in Lake Orion, MI. He has our highest recommendation as a congenial, honest, and competent builder. Tom has a deep appreciation for an older structure and an excellent eye for its possibilities. His work team consistently showed high levels of carpentry skill, careful attention to structural soundness and detail, and efficient, thorough workmanship.  Once into this job, he and his team stuck to it despite really dreadful weather, which they were fully exposed to in the months of Jan., Feb. and March. Considering the gale force winds off the lake,  we would call their dedication to this project really remarkable. We don't think they ever took a snow day. "The owner, Vince, did an excellent job of quoting the siding  - very specific as to details of the job.  The crew led by Barney was great-careful about making sure everything was done correctly..  It took approximately 10 days to complete given some weather delays.  While the cost was on the high side of quotes we received we are quite happy with the final job. All in all, highly recommend Pro Built- would definitely hire them again.  <br /> <strong>Update 5/16/13</strong>  :  A few, very minor, issues develop over the last six months as the siding settled in.  Pro Built was very responsive in getting things taken care of quickly (were out within a few days of my contacting them).   This level of follow-up support is exceptional and is further indication that we made the right choice in selecting them for this project."

"We hired Scott to repair and replace some second story wood railings when the original contractor messed up the job and left without returning.  He came when he said he would, and he contacted us in advance to keep us updated as to changes to the schedule (there was only one).  He brought a very clean and tidy trailer to work out of, which showed that he cared about his craft. Scott worked quickly and efficiently in the time he was here, and the railings look great.  We were very satisfied with the both the product and the process, but especially with how professional Scott was throughout.  It's rare to find this level of professionalism with contractors, so I'm glad we found someone we can call in the future.  Thanks, Scott, for a job well done! <br />"
